i think they confirmed that alastor was a serial killer and radio host who died during or after the great depression. but depending on how terrible or how much horror you caused in life effects how powerful a demon you become

Yeah. He’s a serial killer and a cannibal from New Orleans and was a radio host in life. Because of his Louisiana origin, it’s likely that a lot of his power comes from voodoo as well as the whole serial killer thing

@@kottonkandy0962 It wasn't confirmed if he was a cannibal, the main evidence for the theory that he was a cannibal is that the depictions of his full demonic form looks a lot like a Wendigo, a mythological creature that was spirits who would mainly take over the bodies of people who committed cannibalism. Namely marked by being lanky, malnourished, and with deer/elk like traits, specifically the antlers

Phony 15 well i also heard that Alastor was found by the town of where he lived in life and a bunch of deer hunters kill him and they using dogs for it, thats why in wiki said he was afraid of dogs thats why “I” think is why he looks like that but still i think is a good theory of him being like a cannibal but we might have to wait to know more

Its offensive humor done right imo. It doesnt down a group or glorify prejudice or toxic behaviors, but has characters and actions that are unabashedly offensive in other ways.

See Dean, have I ever steered you wrong with my suggestions? lol. Glad you enjoyed it, I loved it. And you're right, the reason she made this pilot was to pitch it to anyone who would like to turn this into a series. She spent over four years creating this from scratch pretty much. Her dream is to have it picked up by a network, steaming service or production company. But she did say no matter what, she will finish this show no matter what it takes. The best way to keep track of her is to subscribe to her KZfaq Channel, Twitter or she has her own website as well. And if you enjoyed this, shes also working on another show called Helluva Boss. The first episode comes out next week but here's a trailer for it. It's set in the same universe as Hazbin Hotel but follows different characters and a much different context. They are currently looking for a sponsor or someone to green light them for a full season. I do hope it gets picked up by someone. I must say I notice something new every time I watched this video. I missed Katie Killjoy being against gays (Charlie is bi) before. Granted she seems to be against everyone. I still have to go back and read the crawl. You asked who Charlie's father is. She is the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. Most everyone you see in this show died on Earth as humans and came down to hell as demons, but Charlie is an exception. I do wonder what kind of conflict Alastor will bring. He is shaping up to be one of my favorite characters, but he don't want the hotel to be successful, but he believes it's goal to be impossible so I don't think he will sabotage the place. Short term he is vital to the hotel's operations as there is no way they could keep the place running with just two demons.

Yup. Vivz's new project 'Helluva boss' is based on the same universe as Hazbin Hotel but with completely new characters and storyline. I believe it's supposed to be an office comedy similiar to The Office and Parks & Rec.

I’ve been keeping tabs on this project for a couple of years. I was really impressed with all the passion and effort that was put into it. Especially for an independent project backed by crowd funding. The crew does keep updates on progress for the show and, hopefully, it will get picked up by a company that will allow Vivzie full creative control over her project.

The 2 goat demons with Charlie their names are Razzle and Dazzle I have no idea who is who though I do know one is a little darker red than the other but that’s the only difference they seem to have

One thing that people seem to miss (in my experience) Is the wording of the 'contract' Charlie improvised is "for as long as you desire". I don't know the deep deep Vivzie lore but sounds to me like she can't make Alastor leave unless he *wants* to leave now.

That, and how she gave him basically no restrictions about how he "helps" the hotel. It's no wonder he accepted her terms as a "fair trade" to an official deal, since he's still free to take control over the hotel as he likes as long as he can get her to like his changes.

Lovely reaction. Yes Charlie ist the Princess of Hell and the daughter of Lucifer. Btw. I am very curious whether her parents are actually nice, at least Charlie seems to optimistic and self secure to be raised by truly cruel parents.

@@SilvyReacts Good point, I don´t know how I overlooked the obvious connection, that her father likely considers her a failure. Thank you! However let me rephrase, what I intended to say: I doubt that her father is bad in the sense, that e.g. firelord Ozai (of Avatar) is bad. I think it is very possible, that Charlie was and is still being neglected. However I do not think, that her aprents tyranized her, beat her up, or otherwise punished her, if she wasn´t evil enough, or forced her to kill animals. This may not seem like much, but it is actually enough for me to consider them people, that a social and kind society can work with. In general the more I watched that pilot, the more I consider the angels and or god or whatever rules them, the villains and the demons as victims. It seems like they are incarcerated and once per year, angels seem to storm them and commit a minor genocide. As a possibly dead demon philosopher once put it "Fuck heaven"^^ Sorry for the long text.

Well, technically Lucifer is a fallen angel and Lilith was the original girl that Adam was supposed to be with but she turned bad so that’s why Charlie’s such a saint; because she literally is one.

Kottonkandy09 From what I know about Lilith is that she refused to be submissive (lay under him during sex) to Adam and left. Adam then complained to God who then sent an angel to find her. The angel found her around demons who then told her to return to Adam only for to refuse. God then yanked Adam’s rib out and created Eve.

Vaggie is one of Vivzie's oldest characters that went through a lot of changes over time, and she stated not too long ago that "Vaggie" doesn't feel like her real name to her anymore. So there's a chance that her name will change/Vaggie is just a nickname.

I like Alastor's reaction to Angel's "I can suck your...". For a split second, you can see what looks like a mix between disgust and "Are you kidding me? Do I look like I want my D*** to be suck?" @@RaulDiaz-mp8ms I know. The wiki says the same thing. But that doesn't change the fact that Satan is nor listed as a Character or described, whereas Lucifer is. Also, Tradition, myth, folklore, and religion all establish that Lucifer became Satan when he was cast out of heaven and landed in hell, so, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, it is reasonable to speculate that there is just one character; Satan/Lucifer. Besides, considering the number of changes that have already been made, it is reasonable to speculate that at some point Satan may be dropped and merged with Lucifer.
