Today I'll tell you the story of Forkwad Maximum, Calradia's most deranged Bannerlord, as he embarks on a quest to create a Kingdom to rival the empire using a massive horde of cavalry. Will he succeed in his epic quest?

I've always loved horse archers, it's just funny watching them surround an entire army and pelt 'em with arrows. Not the most useful in sieges tho but that's what the other noble's armies are for

Wait until you recruit an army of exclusively Khan's Guards. Heavy armoured horse archers with the best weapon in the game

Just send your troops for sieges, the game doesn't always understand that horse archers aren't great in sieges.

A little bit of advice. The Kuzait nobles have better stats and can reach higher tiers, standard recruits can only reach tier 4 while nobles get tier 5. It will take longer to recruit exclusively nobles and max them out, but it's definitely worth it. With maxed-out Kuzhait nobles you can regularly and reliably take out armies double your size and if you min/max by getting all the perks that increase your party size and the law that gives kings a flat 100 troop increase you can field a party of around 500-600 meaning you could take out armies between 1,000-1,200 without even needing to form an army

Great to see you playing Bannerlord! I was nervous to see if your video style mixed with it but you definitely pulled it off. Also through all of my videos and hours in bannerlord, that splash at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1200">20:00</a> is also the biggest I have EVER seen, I made a guttural noise just seeing it in the video lmao.

Hi! I love your videos. A few tips on doing a horse only run as I have done my fair share is that you should mix up your comp to not be pure cataphracts instead for a late game army of around 300 men I would recommend 1/3 of that to be horse archer and the other 200 to be mostly cataphracts and aseri vanguard faris I halos have around 20 dirshnick champions and the occasional vlandian cavalry but nice job on a first horse only run

Great video, gotta love some emperor executions! Before you declared yourself a kingdom, you could have negotiated peace with the trade screen, with any lord of the western empire! It is so fun/broken to give 10 crafted polearms to some random poor lord, and get peace and keep all those fiefs you just stole!

One of my favorite ways to cheese bannerlord is to go solely archer units, set up on a hill and let them pelt the enemy as they charge, then as soon as the enemy hits your front line you retreat. Then engage again, you lose no troops and wittle down the enemy army at the same time

It’s actually really funny because I just had the idea to make lord Farquaad. I named him maximus, of clan farquaad and I used the same banner and colors as you. I took zero inspiration from other people, but I love how I am not the only one who has had this idea and used the banner I made.😂😂

Yeah, I did this with Khans Guard only and it’s very doable. It just takes a lot of time to replace/recruit your losses in the last phase where you’re trying to siege out the last 20-30 settlements.

I use Khuzait horse archers with any melee cav that can get to max rank: I let archers pummel them until they get close and then send melee cav to force them to turn shields around while pulling archers slightly back as needed - 120 army against 1k+ army no problem, with the retreat and rejoin option always available + patience

As a bannerlord nerd, i prefer the forest people because of their two handed warriors and javelin throwers. They're easy to get and the javelin dudes are essentially melee/ranged units so it's a two for one. A few hundred javelin throwers defending a fort are pretty much invincible, i have yet to lose a fort while using them

Watching this back after my modded Bannerlord experience makes me wonder what you would do in the Warhammer Old World mod. If you're a masochist, I highly suggest it. If not, I still suggest it, but not quite as much.

I remember buying the original game when I was in college off of a shady website and processing a payment in euros for the very first time. Back when it got really hyped up on the Something Awful forums. This was before steam existed. It was early access before the term “early access” even existed. The version of the game I got they didn’t even have the arena implemented yet. There was a black knight ball that rolled around and would destroy you, that’s if you weren’t fucked by the Swabians and their incredibly fast world map horses
