Very good coverage SaudaGhar. Pune is a good city but the municipality can do much better. With the rapid expansion, the municipality needs to utilise its resources efficiently and speedily. Waterworks, hygiene, public transportation, roads, flyovers and traffic management requires deeper attention and soultions.

This shows the Indian Work Attitude. Don’t finish the work completely, keep it delaying and then use funds for other non sense works. Because of they complete the work then their nuisance value is reduced and they will have to do some other work , there is no explanation for this that 95% of land has been acquired but for this 5% it is taking ages.

Pmc की इतिहास और वर्तमान मे की गयी सबसे बडी गल्तीयां 👉 Dp प्लॅन को सतत नजर अंदाझ करते रेहना 👉 इतिहास मे समय पर inner, middle और आउटर रिंग रोड नां बनाना. इतिहास और वर्तमान. मे की गयी गलतिया आज सामने आ रही है.. वो भी सर चढकर... फिर भी कार्यक्षमता और vision शून्य 0😮

Baner-Pashan link road Nimhan ne rok ke rakha hai jo local politician hai. Aise kitne sare roads Pune me khud politicians ne rok ke rakhe hai. Jab tak forced acquisition nahi hoga tab tak kuch nhi ho sakta. Govt should bring changes in law & ask corporations for forced acquisitions. Compensate above current market rate, fir bhi nahi mante to sidha seize karo land. There is no end for greed.

@@supratimkundu7669 Issue with Pune is there are too many local politically affiliated people. Even PMC staff don’t want to get involved when land belongs to politician. Such local politicians ask for unrealistic compensation so land acquisition gets stalled. My Office is right on Baner-Pashan link road and these locals are asking for 55cr for merely small pieces of land. PMC is also wasting money in some unwanted projects but not spending money on roads

Indeed true, V.V.Very pathetic service. Zero hygiene, no cleanliness, no proper infrastructure/roads etc.. So, can we ask the current Sarkar, Municipals to convince us “GIVE US 3 REASONS ON WHY SHOULD WE (TAX PAYERS) PAY TAX ?”. Can we initiate a plan of NOT PAYING TAX further to municipals & IT ? It needs bigger support. I think now we should respond as TIT for TAT approach to this organisation. They will learn on our public’s adamant approach. Because it has become something in every field that what we buy / purchase isn’t being provisioned with a good / minimum service. Hence time for raising voice by individuals !

Please make a video about Balewadi road conditions. 1. Everyone can observe that when you travel Balewadi Highstreet it is immaculate, and clean and pollution information is also updated near Balewadi Police Chowkey on Highstreet. But if you take a left towards CM International School or a right turn towards Dasara Chowk you will realize the density of dust in the air, pollution is on the pick, and if you are riding a bike behind a Truck or bus then you need to either stop or overtake it. Kids have to face too much pollution throughout the day in this area also water logging in front of the SKP Campus board is an invitation for Dengue and other diseases. Metro is pointing towards PMC smart city officials and PMC is pointing towards Metro officials. 2. Another pathetic road is in front of Gini Viviana Society/ Perfect 10 to Ashtvinayak Chowk. The road is missing and they used to pour soil and Murum rock to overcome it for Heavy vehicles and tankers. It is only a 100-150 mtr patch heavily loaded with such vehicles throughout the day. When there is rain you can't even imagine riding a bike or walking and when rain is missing then dust affects your health. Due to this road, all nearby roads are muddy. In the night there is no light on the entire patch from Ashtvinayak Chowk to Mantra Monarch society. Don't understand where the taxpayers' money is going and what kind of power is stopping PMC from connecting this missing link.

I am seeing all roads are being constructed but not at all good progress. I do understand that it's hard to due to traffic but still I think should have a workaround or plan in place....2 years almost and beautiful pune is being ruined everywhere

all the government public body mechanism in india has same issue. no planning at all. look at SBI. world's biggest bank as customer base, but no use. if you comapre chinese, usa bank they dont have big customer base but still has world class quality of service

Same goes with Kaspate chowk Baner road. The bridge has been ready for years now.. I read that 15 crore was spent in building the bridge over the river but the Baner side land acquisition hasn’t been done by PMC.

Major problem for Municipal corporations in our country is lack of funds and lack of sources of revenue. The only source of revenue for Municipal corporations is property tax and stamp duty/registration. We should follow the US model where the municipal corporations should have their own police force, they run the airports and earn revenue, they run the railway stations and bus stands and earn revenue. We also need to give a part of GST to the cities so that they don't have to waut for state govt or central govt for funds.

I have been observing how Pune’s infra degraded over a period of time ... I think there is only one solution to it, leave this city ... believe me in next 5 years, situation will be absolutely worse here ... @girijashankarj... Wrong conclusion. Positive and healthy criticism should be encouraged for self improvement in any sphere of life. That is a feedback. If the criticism has merit and shows the right direction, it should be gracefully acknowledged. Many, many Indians who have settled abroad are now local councillors, mayors, legislators in those countries who are doing well for their society and they are accepted and appreciated.

It is precisely because of this mindset that the corporation feels emboldened and chooses not to act. They know that the local populace will support them with the argument that the corporation is doing everything it can, and it’s the outsiders who are hindering development. This argument is completely baseless and reflects a weak mentality. If we accept this reasoning, then everyone living in Pune is an outsider. Only a small portion of the original inhabitants live here, while the rest have come from different districts of Maharashtra and various other states. Wake up from this dormant mindset and realize that the people coming from outside are earning here and spending here as well. The companies where they are working and earning money are mostly foreign companies. Moreover, they are contributing to Maharashtra’s revenue by paying taxes, stamp duty, property tax, road tax, and more. Those renting homes are also filling the pockets of the local residents. Inward migration is always a positive sign for any region. And these people are not coming from Pakistan or Bangladesh, but from our own country. So, accept this truth for the growth of your mind and broaden your thinking.
