I like to think of it as if speech blip is a canon part of the universe now. Like, these are just vocalized blips, and this is not some in-game trick: they are canonically blipping except for *Objection!* and like that. But anime adaptation and Dual Destinies ruined it :< (It's still my favorite game, tho)

Because the visuals were created to be shown in a compressed Nintendo DS quality movie file, where you couldn't see as much detail. Now that you can see finer details in this source file, you can see how weird some aspects of his model look. It's the same reason Wii and GameCube and Nintendo 64 games look better on older TVs. Sometimes seeing more detail exposes flaws. I know your comment is old, but I figured I'd drop in my two cents.

*SPOILERS AHEAD* It’s strange how this song ended up reflecting some of the major events of Lamiroir’s life, especially since Klavier says it was he who wrote the lyrics! We know that her first husband was a guitarist who, it could be said, stole the keys to her heart when they fell in love. Since Jove was a wandering musician, he presumably travelled by plane very often - hence Lamiroir flying through the air with him, always surrounded by the melodies he would play. The fire that burned her love away was the blaze that took Jove’s life and separated her from Apollo, the two people she cherished most. And finally, there was the bullet that tore the rest of her life away when she returned to the troupe and married Zak, leaving her alone in a foreign country, blind, and unable to remember who she was. As it turns out, Apollo and Trucy weren’t so off the mark when they suggested there was a pattern to the lyrics.

The cymbal crash specifically drowns it out. If you use the mixing board you can hear the gunshot only if the drums part is off.
