Jacob Hendrickson Fuel efficiency are what really draws back most American buyers from picking one up. People want more gas friendly options and want a car that’s more maneuverable in daily routines like driving to work or commuting in the city. Thats why minivans were born in the late 80s because people still wanted the comforts and space of a van in a smaller package with better fuel efficiency than the gas guzzlers of the day.

I just got gifted one of these from my old man. Nowhere near as nice of condition and it's got 200k miles on it but I love it fr. Hopefully the motors in decent condition I'm gonna turn it into a stealth camper

I bought a 1997 C1500 Conversion van . In decent shape having it detailed and the paint corrected. Its built like a tank. These Chevy's in the 90's were just solid trucks. Comparing to the newer ones I would still buy the older ones.

Wow , looks and sounds perfect. I rode in a van like this. It was like sitting in my living room. Actually much nicer then my living room. I hope it is a dream of whoever buys it.

I love these vans so much I just bought back my 1997 I so to a friend.......sold it fir a suburban and wasn’t happy with the suburban at all. Did great in the snow but does not offer the same amount of leg space as the conversion van

Someone took care of this van like I do mine, everything is covered in mine. Carpets over factory carpet covers over leather seats gotta keep em nice.

This is pure nostalgia, i grew up to theese vans in the 90s just like the guy said theese where the vans to havex eveey uncle of mine had one and it was the coolest thing to roll in in chicago eveeybody knew someone who had one

I picked up this 97. Rough shape. But still very functional for what I want to do. High mileage. But, It is GMC. 500. Love your tires.I'm sold on them as what I will replace the old ones with. I had complete brakes. Idler arms, upper bushings replaced. Need socks and tires. Also have to change my oxygen sensors and a couple of solenoids in the transmission. I'm thinking just do all of those. I do wish mine was as fresh a yours... But I have learned to be content in whatever state I'm going to find myself in and that I am currently in with Christ Jesus. 500. Was the blessing of practicing patience and being a pauper. 1cor. 15 1-4 Ps I also drop outed that air intake box and went with the K&N cone. Simple for that setup. Opens engine compartment to keep eye on things better, and let's that vortec 5.7 breathe. (New throttle body is also on list for the old engine to be able to relax. 200350 current miles. 199750? the oil pressure is low because when you press the gas it will normalize

It shows you how vehicles lose their value. Imagine a few years ago when I was made. It was worth $40000 today. You could buy the same exact one for as lickle as $10000 even less, which means it's lost a value of 30000 dollars, wow.

I’d buy this in a heartbeat, im sure some lazy American has destroyed it by now. Not a chance your gonna have 2 OCD owners in a row. I have one this nice but wish it was a high top. Mines a 94 with 18,900 miles on it.
