Yup, this mod is preprogrammed with GCVideo 3.1 (checked my installation and knjn site to verify) and outputs 480p by default. In its advanced settings, it can do 240p, 288p, 480i, 576i, 480p, and 576p. Hope this helps :3

Sorry, but I don't. The power via on the right side of the board (towards the console) and ground via is on the left side of the board (closest towards the shell). They're both labeled well right on the power and fan board. Connect the power from the USB-C adapter to the power via on the board, and connect the ground from the USB-C adapter to the ground on the board. I showcase it better in my USB-C power modding vid. I came up with the mod myself actually. I got the USB C module with the right charger on Amazon and designed the little housing myself as well. The links for the USB stuff are in the description. I can put a dropbox the STLs for the housing if you'd like. You'd need to grind away a little of the GC fan mount since the USB C unit is a little long. I can def make a little video of it for sure!

@@JustinSunseri That's a great question! Not necessarily. There are a few requirements to consider to ensure that nothing breaks. The power adapter and charger need to have the USPD protocol supported. It's a dialog between the devices to ensure that whatever voltage is requested is delivered. The charger must also be able to supply the voltage and current needed. For the GC, that's 12 Volts at 3.25 Amps from the OEM PSU. The charger I selected can supply 12V at 3A. It's close enough to a 2% tolerance that nothing will be damaged. If it supplies more current, then awesome. Any less and the charger would def burn out from the power demand. The USB power adapter is voltage adjustable where I've set it for 12V and it's rated to supply up to 5A. Note that it'd only supply at most 3 because of the charger. It'll ask for 12V and consume up whatever current the GC draws up to 3A. I also made sure that the USB C cables are rated to be able to carry the voltage and current without issue. Hope this helps!

@@PedroPlatinumGaming as much as I want to ditch the brick, the fact that you need to go out and buy a special USB cable and dongle takes some of the fun out of it. If you love using the handle and taking your cube places it could make sense though

@@JustinSunseri Agreed, it's definitely a use case thing because there's quite a bit to consider. saving space on travel is def an idea I didn't think about. In my case, I have several consoles and want to have them all go off the same brick. Managing all of those is a little annoying lol

Not necessarily. I selected it because it fit the requirements for voltage, current, and having the USB-C PD protocol. Any USB-C wall adapter that supports the PD protocol as well as supply 12 volts and at least 3 amps will do the trick.

The USB power mod replaces the need for the OEM brick. The wall adapter does need to have the be able to supply 12V at 3A (3.25A to match old brick), and have the PD protocol to ensure the power delivery. The USB C adapter I use can handle up to 5A if I find a more reliable wall adapter to swap the one I currently use. I'm consolidating all my consoles to run off a single brick. too much mess lol

It's a matter of how you want to the resolution you want. the HDMI mods are pixel based scaling using customized FPGAs to keep the krispness and accuracy when scaling as they're digital solutions where most other adapters may simply scale and stretch the signal up which can result in some fuzz in a more analog manner. I don't want dongles or additional external hardware; and prefer to have the most accurate scaling. If other peeps go for the dongles and such due to affordability, then that's cool too since they work too. many ways to get to the same place! :3
