I enjoyed this ride I like looking up y'all business like Bosch Beton I think that's it a concrete manufacturer so cool I look for your water and Wastewater plants because when I was young I worked both plant types and finally the beautiful cities and stuff I loved it thank so much 🥰😍❤️😎

Dit traject Amersfoort-Enschede heb ik wel honderden keren gereden toen ik op de UT Twente zat in de 1970's en m'n ouders in de randstad woonden. Ben verhuisd naar de VS in 1980. Op één zo'n reis op weg naar Schiphol zo'n 15 jaar geleden stapte er in Deventer een KLM piloot in onze coupé die ook naar Schiphol moest. Bleek dat hij de piloot was die ons terugvloog naar Atlanta. In de vroege jaren was de reis van Amersfoort naar het oosten altijd rustgevend omdat de drukte van het westen werd achtergelaten...

Daar kom ik niet zo vaak. Het is lastig om een tijd en plaats af te spreken vanwege de vele dienstwijzigingen, daarom ben ik ook gestopt met daarmee.

Hallo meneer, ik heb een vraag over uw baan. Ik zit noch op school maar zou later machinist willen worden, maar op de NS forums had ik gezien dat machinisten zo vroeg als 4 uur beginnen en op andere diensten om 2 uur in de nacht eindigen. Kan je bijvoorbeeld als machinist kiezen of je geen ochtend dienst doet? Zo niet, hoe zit dat?

Goed idee! Tijdens je opleiding draai je alle diensten mee, dus vroeg, laat en nacht. Eenmaal zelfstandig kun je in een voorkeursrooster met bijvoorbeeld alleen laat of laat en nacht. Heb je moeite met vroeg opstaan? Ik heb dat er wel voor over, en het went.

@@CabviewHolland Oh ja, ik ben zeker geen ochtend persoon. 8 uur beginnen met school irriteert mij al, dus ik zet mijn slaapritme boven alles. Wel mooi dat er een voorkeur rooster is na de opleiding, ik ben alleen bang dat de onregelmatige werktijden (vooral de erg vroege en late diensten) een slechte impact gaat hebben op mijn slaapritme.

Very beautiful! Winter in The Netherlands looks amazing. It also looks chilly though, judging by the clothes worn by the passangers waiting at the stations! The railway line from Almelo to Hengelo is called the Almelo - Salzbergen Line. Is the other end of this line in Salzburg, Austria? I wonder which cities it gloes through in Germany on its way there, if so! It's hard to trace railways in Europe, as there are thousands of them going all over the place!
