Two things: Doug left the code running even after the stream ended and was randomly turning it on again the same night, so that people in offline chat kept getting banned. He also WAS planning on streaming the next day with the banned chat, but he had to do something so he didn't stream.

Just to let you know, originally the UK used to use both "period" and "full stop" for the symbol. However "full stop" means the final / end of a sentence while a "period" would be the same symbol used in any other context such as in numbers, times, abbreviations, etc. With time, the US never adopted the "full stop" from the UK and it's colonies, while the UK mostly abandoned using "period", instead mainly using "full stop" as the name of the symbol in all contexts with the exception of decimal numbers. I've never been about to find a trustworthy primary source, but I have heard that "full stop" goes back to telegrams where the phrase "stop" was used for the end of sentence, thus a "full stop" / "final stop" meant the end of the telegram.

I watched my first DougDoug stream yesterday. We were supposed to raid someone, but said person ended their stream so it failed... We ended up stuck in the "basement" and some stayed for really long. Basically, the stream was a blast and technically kept going even after it had ended due to chat. 10/10 would chat again.
