In the "Islam and the West" speech in London, King Charles lll talked about the misunderstanding in the west about Islam: "If there is much misunderstanding in the West about the nature of Islam, there is also much ignorance about the debt our own culture and civilisation owe to the Islamic world. The medieval Islamic world, from Central Asia to the shores of the Atlantic, was a world where scholars and men of learning flourished. But because we have tended to see Islam as the enemy of the West, as an alien culture, society and system of belief, we have tended to ignore or erase its great relevance to our own history." On how Christianity can learn from Islam, he says: "Islam can teach us today a way of understanding and living in the world which Christianity itself is the poorer for having lost. At the heart of Islam is its preservation of an integral view of the Universe." He added that Islam refuses to "separate man and nature, religion and science, mind and matter, and has preserved a metaphysical and unified view of ourselves and the world around us."

I'm moslim, i'm 57 ,i'm from Algeria and i can testifie that understanding quraan in arabic is totally different from understanding it in other language cause the exact sens of some words doesn't exist in foreigns languages.

The quotes he said is actually a part of a verse in the Qur'an. "... Indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but the heart in the chest that grow blind" (Quran 22:46). The verse itself is a part of a surah named "Al-Hajj" or "the Pilgrimage", which will reach it's peak in the next 2 or 3 days for this year. And ends with "Eid Adha" or animal sacrifice days to honor the legacy of our father Abraham AS. Allahu a'lam.

That is why i am still learning the Quran from a teacher. I listen to Nouman Ali Khan teach Quran by explaining every Arabic words in ayat/verse of Surah in the Quran. The structure and style of linguistic in the Quran are very fascinated to me when i learn more deeper. How the ayat came down. How and why the rules were in the Quran. How Allah talks and address to the many audiences/listeners (Muslims, the Jews, the Christians, the Pagan Mecca). How Allah refute the claim or idea came from the Jews, the Christians, the Polytheis, the atheis, the Material people and etc). How Allah gives many stories for us to take as lessons. How the mistakes from previous nation (Bani Israel) as an example for Muslims not to follow etc Nouman Ali Khan had a book called (Divine Speech) and KZfaq called Bayyinah. Check it out for anyone interested to know more.

There is no original sin. Adam and Eve prayed for forgiveness and God forgave them. Qur'an 2:37. Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful. The prayer for forgiveness by Adam and Eve. Qur'an 7:23. “Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.”

Islam is the truth my Allah guide you to the truth

Well his quest, however negative it was, brought him to the truth in the end. I m not saying this cause i m a muslim but i cam assure you guys that Islam is the easiest religion to practice and follow. His story is commendable. he did not lie, did not hide his real intentions behind writing an anti Islamic book. amazing stories of how people's hearts change and even i being a Muslim sometimes do something against the teachings of my religion and then it keeps haunting me cause i know ill have to answer Allah for all my deeds.
