In today's video we go through moments regular guys, even pro guys challenge NBA players. They really thought they could win, except it went BAD.

If you seriously think you could beat Shaq 1on1, just because you were the top guy in your high school team, then you presumably also think you can defeat a hungry lion with your bare hands. Pure idiocy.

If you could 1v1 Shaq, would you not? I'd call out Shaq for an immediate 1v1 if I saw him while I was checking my mail in my robe and slippers. Is that pure idiocy, or is that just wanting to play with a Legend?

Look at how ginormous that man is. Insane to think that giant could run like a gazelle. Prime shaq was the most unstoppable professional athlete I've ever seen. In a league where physical defense is restricted, the game is way more spaced up, athletes have evolved to be more injury-prone but also more athletic, WHILE lacking true physicality, and offense has evolved to be way superior, I firmly believe that Shaq would absolutely destroy everything and anything in this era.

We used to get quite a few pro athletes in a gym I used to go to in Charlotte area. A few HOF level football players and a few pro basketball players that played in leagues overseas. A guy that played pro ball in Israel would come in and play sometimes and he was so fast, he would run around everyone like they were standing still. It was crazy how agile and athletic the dude was. Now just imagine the level that a HOF NBA player is, lol. People in the NBA don't even have a prayer of stopping Shaq near the rim.

In high school there was this insanely quick, not fast just really quick and elusive, player on our rival HS team. He tortured us the first time we played him, he got every shot he wanted and put up 42 that game, and that season he was averaging 25 a game and was getting multiple D3 and D2 offers. Even got a couple D1 offers. One of which he took I think. Kai was his first name, don't remember his last, but he did have less success our second time around. And we did win that game which was a game I went to with a few friends. We won in overtime and the dude had all of us cheering for and against him. There are some you just know and can tell, no matter what race or ethnicity they are, they are really that much higher than everyone else.

@zaynes5094 Жыл бұрын
@David Ellner I've played really solid JuCo and D3 hoopers and I always put my losses and wins up. I know I have to raise my own level to be able to hoop with and against them. I learned some things against this guy I lost to yesterday. I learned I'm too predictable with my sizeups sometimes, and I learned from him, that I have to slow down and not go 110 all the time on offense. Sometimes It's good to slow down and pace slow to fast and slow. I learned the Rondo fake and he actually is going to school to be a teacher, not a pro ball player, so he did actually teach me that move. To say the least, no loss (especially to a pro) is a bad loss in a 1v1. You just learn from the mistakes and learn to get better.
