Here is a little story about "us" husband and wife of 51 yrs+; When we were younger I did most of the yard work; sometimes I had to ask hubby for help (he was the main provider for the family) but for the last 13 yrs we enjoy a small house and yard. I discovered since he is home now and takes care of the yard work--he likes it when I am outside and help or fuss about my flowers; So it gives me an excuse to putter outside -- and he also helps me with the bigger chores in the house and I bake and cook his special "foodies" All that said--we had to be intentional about it; Now it is easier to ask for help of each other -- team work is more doable and enjoyable wether outside chores or in the house/ Hubby is still hopeless getting the dishes into the dishwasher--somehow I get 2 X as many in as he does--but then I am good at puzzles and he is good with computers---working, sharing, loving is intentional and active--life is easier that way in the upper 70s.

I've said it before and I'll say it again...if Brian and other lawn care u-tubers can do the work without judging, us viewers can watch without judgement.

You know Brian I felt so bad seeing you do this cleanup. The guy who lives there looks to be in his 20’s and here you are much older than him and you’re out there breaking your back to clean his lawn AND doing it for free!!! Brian: I do free lawn care. Owner: I can’t afford lawn care. We just can’t grasp that someone said “free.” This lawn needed a lot of care and Brian was the one for the job. Looks great now!

It appeared to be an able-bodied man in his prime years who opened the door and spoke with you and said he was going to do the yard but it was too hot. Give me a break, I'm a 72 year old female and I cut my lawn and take care of my garden beds when it's above 90 outside and dew points in the 70s "oppressive range." If I can do it, so can that dude. That yard hasn't been taken care of in at least a year, maybe more, and there are easy repairs and clean-ups that could have been done around the outside of the house that haven't been touched. Yeah. You always do great work, it looked great when you finished.

Can't wait to see the back yard transformation! You know I bet a lot of these people are so overwhelmed by their yards being so overgrown that they don't even try to upkeep them. But after you or the other youtubers get done with their yards, I bet they feel good enough to continue to make it look good.

It's so kind and generous of you not to mention hard-working and courteous. Every community should have a gentleman like you, They would help the elderly maintain their lovely lawns that the owner work so hard on. He offered his help to those who were going through financial hardship. You help these people themselves both financially as well as mentally and I know this because my husband also did the same by using his, lawn mower where it was needed. I think you don't appreciate just what you do. I want to say thank you for all you have done. I think of you as an angle for those in need of a break and you offer it to them.

Wow, this one turned out especially nice. Who would have thought the grass was in such great shape underneath all that overgrowth. It really looks great. It picked up the whole neighborhood !! You do such a thorough job, always picking up the grass cuttings. It's an interesting house and now it really shines.

Some times renters or owners, just cant get to their lawns... I get.... I am 83 years old, and I have a small yard now, but I used to have 2ans 1/2 city lots. I mow my own lawn. I don't have money to pay someone to do it for me. I believe I'm healthier because of it, and I enjoy it

I don't understand when a young guy can't keep his lawn looking good. All you need to do is cut it, edge and trim it. You don't need the fancy tools to do that. There are manual edgers or even a shovel will do a very nice job. What this young man should have said if he was being honest is... "I don't care enough about my house or neighborhood to keep my lawn looking good, but if you want to do it for free and I don't have to do anything, then go ahead."
