@@brightbite Predestination is the biblical doctrine that God in His sovereignty chooses certain individuals to be saved. The most common objection to the doctrine of predestination is that it is unfair. Why would God choose certain individuals and not others? We must remember that no one deserves to be saved. We have all sinned (Romans 3:23) and are all worthy of eternal punishment (Romans 6:23). As a result, God would be perfectly just in allowing all of us to spend eternity in hell. However, God chooses to save some of us. He is not being unfair to those who are not chosen, because they are receiving what they deserve. God’s choosing to be gracious to some is not unfair to the others.

What a lovely couple! May the Lord Jesus save them both as soon as possible. They are so agreeable and friendly, not hostile or stubborn at all. Obviously they even know many things about Yeshua and are not objecting to them! Wow 😮 That's what makes me especially love the Jewish people! I think most of them are the same way they were 2000 years ago, when they were hungry for the truth and eager to listen to the preaching of our Lord Jesus and his apostles… What a beautiful nation our God has created as his firstborn! I hope all of the Jewish people get saved! Salvation came to us through you guys. Praise Adon Yeshua for His mercy and love!!! May every human soul be saved, in the name of Jesus Christ!!! AMEN 🙏 ❤

I am fairly certain that my father inherited some Jewish genetics from his mother. But in any case, we as believers in the Messiah should find a primary identity in Yeshua, not in who our parents are. As much of a struggle as that may be even for me, it’s the truth.

The promises are for the biological descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob. Read Genesis 22 and other passages. There is no such thing as spiritual Israel through a messiah figure, if that is what you are thinking. Along with the lost Ten Tribes and the Jews others will join. See Ezekiel 37 and Isaiah 1, but all must keep the covenant and observe he sabbath day.

@@shalpert1947 I said identity, not promises. And as for the Sabbath, read Colossians 2:8-16 through the end of the chapter, as well as Hebrews 4. @@shalpert1947 That doesn't work. The New Testament economy (the one that Christianslive under) wasn't inaugurated until after the death of Jesus, and likely not even until Pentecost. Tell me: what was the "first day of the week" that Luke and Paul keep mentioning in Acts and Paul's letters as the day that early believers met on? But hey, if you wanna observe the Sabbath and worship on Saturday, knock yourself out! Just know that observing it isn't mandatory and claiming that it is and trying to force it on everyone else amounts to the Judaizing heresy condemned in Galatians 1:6-9. Paternal descent has always made a person Jewish. It wasn't until the first century that it changed. A quick perusal of Ethiopian history shows no such thing in their history of matrilineal descent. They had no contact with other Jews for centuries. So the young man is Jewish 100% regardless of what the rabbis say. Great video, thank you for sharing your faith in Jesus- Yeshua.

Hello! I think it doesn't matter if you are Jewish or not. What matters is that you believe Yeshua is the Messiah and that He rose from the dead. However, in my opinion, you are Jewish IF your mother is Jewish. Of course, if you have some Jewish ancestors, you can be proud about it, but does it make you richer? Does it make a difference in your life? Ask yourself the right questions and believe in the Messiah. That's it. Thank you for this new video 🙂

I’ve always thought it odd someone could have a Jewish grandparent or great grandparent and they would be considered Jewish yet I wouldn’t be just because my father was Jewish but my mother wasn’t. And biblically most of the examples are based on your father being Jewish not the mother. I rarely talk about it but it actually bugs me.😊

I Heard from other Jewish program, that it had to do with the Rabbis changing the law, because when the Assyrians came , they raped many women, including married women, so they weren't sure who father was, so decided Jews are those born of Jewish mother. But it is silly, one inherits ethnicity from both parents. I think Jews may be the only ones with a law like that, but haven't researched it.

That used to bug me too. But I read an article on the Gospel Friends of Israel ministry cite that basically said either a mother OR a father would make you Jewish (Rahab was a Canaanite and Ruth a Moabite, yet they were both part of the line of David, the ancestor of both Joseph, the adopted father of Yeshua, and Mary, His biological mother; and Bathsheba was originally married to Uriah, a Hittite, and God honored that marriage which David sundered). But in any case, our primary identity should be in Yeshua the Messiah, as hard as it is even for me.

It shouldn't bug you at all! It is just the corruption and perversion by the devil in order to turn all of God's law and order upside down! That's how that insane psychopath operates. He introduced it through the satanic Talmud, zohar, Kabbalah and other ungodly books written by the devil's inspiration through talmudic rabbis in the rabbinical Judaism, which is the opposite of God's biblical Judaism! It's a lie from the pits of hell, and we rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ! According to God's law, the man is the head of the family and the blood is transferred through the man, meaning the blood affiliation/ethnicity. Shalom in Jesus' holy name! ❤👋

Yes but if you take a dna test, you will see you are still ethnically a Jew. They said it that way back then bc the mother is the one who Carrie’s and births the baby. It’s Mom that does the child rearing. So if mom is Jewish, you’d better believe she’s raising you Jewish. If she’s say Buddhist , she’s raising you a Buddhist also. Dad goes to work, Mom stays home and does all the teaching and raising and correcting. So whatever religion Dad is doesn’t have much of a daily impact.

Thank you for reconfirming that the linage was on the paternal side. If you read the scriptures in the Old Testament ( and new) it states the history of the generations by the males in that linage, starting with Adam and continues to name the males who were born to him and his descendants. It’s heartbreaking that there has been a lot of rejection placed on children who’s father is Jewish and the mother is not. It almost crates like a second class citizen in Jewish culture. That is the case with my son in law his father is Jewish and his mother is a non Jewish Christian. Biology and the Bible lets us know that he is Jewish, even though the rabbinical law considers him a non Jew. I really enjoy the way you evangelize the name of our Lord and Savior Yeshua.

First of all, it says nowhere in the Jewish scriptures that the Jewishness of a person is transmitted through the father. The tribal lineage, yes, but that is not what determines if he is part of the nation. Second of all, let's say it would go through the father. Do you really think you would be satisfied with that? You would be complaining just as much that it's not fair. The only reason people disapprove of this is because it supposedly comes from "rabbinic law"

@@L_lechant I was just responding to your statement that the person in the video was somehow "confirming" that we go by the paternal side. There is nothing anywhere that would indicate this. If you think God used DNA to determine who is Jewish, you are also basing this on absolutely nothing. Think about it. Do you really think God would make the determining factor on who is Jewish and who is not to be something for 99.9% of history we had no access to? How would we have been expected to know who is Jewish until nowadays? Btw not being Jewish is not even close to second class. The Jewish people are the children of God just like anybody else. The only difference is they have been given a specific job which nobody else has been made to do. God loves everyone and we are all his children. Even in Judaism, you don't have to be Jewish to be going to the upper levels of heaven. Not only that but you have a much easier road to get there if you're not Jewish since you have considerably less commandments
@L_lechant

@@nothingbutthetruth613 With all due respect I think you do not understand what either the young man was referring to when he said he was not considered Jewish. According to traditional Jewish law, someone is a Jew if he or she is born to a Jewish mother or converted to Judaism. Therefore, a child who is born to a Jewish father and a non-Jewish mother is not Jewish even if raised with a Jewish identity. If you are not informed of this then you missed the whole point of the conversation and my commentary. Blessings and peace be with you. I will not further engage in this conversation, since we are not talking about the same topic.

@@L_lechant What would make you think that I don't know this? Jewish identity coming from the mother has basis in the scriptures. Coming from the father has no basis at all. I guess you just don't understand what I am saying since you are not Jewish but as I already said, I was simply commenting on your very first comment which implied that the bible actually affirms this notion that Jewish identity comes from the father and I am trying to show you that you are very wrong. He is also very wrong in this video but most people listening to this have no idea. That's all, my friend. Good luck to you

I think it is the saddest thing that many Jewish people think they're not Jewish because it's their father and not their mother. I heard that it became matrilineal after the Inquisition because violation was so common. "Mommy's baby. Daddy's maybe." We gotta think about where we get this stuff from. Where in the TNK does it matter? Zipporah, Rahab, Ruth, Bathsheba...C'mon. It's ridiculous. Only on ONE occasion did it NOT take father and mother to bring forth a human baby. If it is father only, Yeshua wouldn't be Jewish either.

I follow the National Library of Israel on Facebook, and I remember an article that stated (Israeli) scientist consider religion during the Second Temple period to be best understood as patrimonial (ritual) heritage. So from father upon child, but in relation to the transmission of literature and religious practice. The word proselytize came from a Pharisee practice to actively look for converts among people of other nations, as is also mentioned by Jesus. And science agrees they did so before Christians started doing it also. And likely denounced it when Christian became much more successful in it. Judaism didn't become as endogamous as it is today any earlier then the successful spread of Christianity throughout the Roman (and Persian) empire. I remember an Israeli scientist who went so far to say that the discontinuity between Second Temple Judaism and later rabbinical Judaism is so big, and happened so much in reaction to Christianity, that it is far to say Judaism as we know of it today originated from Christianity.

The Judgment of the Dead REV. 11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

It's sad to me that he closed himself off, by crossing his arms, as you were sharing the gospel, as they were uncrossed the whole time prior. May God soften his hardened heart, and may botn of them come to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Israel's Supreme Court has ruled, concluding that their belief that Jesus was the Messiah makes them Christian instead of a Jew. A quote, ..... "'Messianic Jews attempt to reverse the wheels of history by 2,000 years,'' Justice Elon wrote in a passage quoted by the Israeli newspapers. ''But the Jewish people has decided during the 2,000 years of its history'' that Messianic Jews ''do not belong to the Jewish nation and have no right to force themselves on it. Those who believe in Jesus are, in fact, Christians.'' The Law of Return was amended in 1970 to provide a more detailed explanation of who qualifies: a Jew means any person born to a Jewish mother, or someone who has converted to Judaism and is not an adherent of another religion.

Gospel message should start pointing out that "you are a sinner in need of a Savior, Jew or not Jew!", not whether Jews can believe in Jesus too. Believe me, I love Jewish people as the follower of Yeshua (Jesus), my Savior. He is Jewish, I have only love for His people, I am now His people. But without law like a mirror or a school master pointing out that one is a Sinner, Jew or not Jew, all shall perish alike. I personally believe after the sharing of the Gospel, if convicted which the listener should be, the listener should depart in tears. Either tears of joy for getting to know the Savior and the privilege of taking refuge in Him or tears of dread of the impending doom!

Do you see any interesting Biblically historical pattern below? 👇🏻 Notice how Moses’s wife, became a part of the Hebrew community, because she followed and Married a Hebrew Man (Moses). Notice how Abraham’s went from being a Heretic-gentile, to being a Hebrew/Jew, just for having faith in God. Notice how the gentile Sarah, became a Hebrew/Jew, because she married and followed a man who essentially became a Hebrew (the first Hebrew 👉🏻 ABRAHAM), just because he believed in God. Notice how Sarah and Moses’s wife, became Hebrew because of the MEN they follow, and not because of Women. 💁🏻‍♂️ Notice how almost every person God called to do something very important, was often a Man, and very rarely a woman. 💁🏻‍♂️ Notice how God created a Man first, THEN the woman. Notice how the word, Woman, has the word MAN in it. And the word Man, is just Man. Notice how the Hebrew Bible tells you where each prophet and person in the Bible came from, by telling you who their FATHER was. And not their Mother. 💁🏻‍♂️ Notice how every war in humanity, is fought by Men. Mostly men. ….show me a war that was fought mainly with women? Notice how God specifically says, the Man is the head of the household. And his wife is there to serve him. 💁🏻‍♂️ Notice how almost every country in the world, is run primarily by MEN. And not women. 💁🏻‍♂️ Notice how Yeshua is called the SON OF GOD, and not the Daughter of God. 💁🏻‍♂️ Notice how the Jewish-Messiah is a MAN, and not a Woman. 💁🏻‍♂️

I’m a Christian but ethnically Jewish. My grandfather was 100% Jew. But I wasn’t raised in the tradition or religion, or the language or even exposed to any of it. I didn’t even know I was Jewish until I was an adult. I just thought my grandfather had some weird religion his mom made him follow as a kid. I wish my mom had introduced me to that part of my history from the time I was small. I feel a little jipped.

@@RaptureReadyPam Because Christianity is a continuation of Judaism. They dont compliment each other, Christianity completes Judaism. It wasn’t supposed to be a whole separate religion. Many things in Christianity we don’t understand without digging in to our Jewish roots. It’s also not just a religion. It’s my ethnicity that was hidden from me.

@@jaysonb.6669 Yes. However finding out that I was ethnically Jewish was very moving for me. It’s not just a religion. The people who suffered under hitler were actually my people. My great grandparents apparently came to America to escape hitler. I’ve always felt a strong love for the Jews and to find out I am actually one of them brings a whole new meaning to the Old Testament AND New Testament for me. I wish my mom had taught me about how to celebrate the Jewish feasts from the perspective that messiah already came. When learning about the meaning of the feasts with everyone else in church I was dumbstruck. It’s stuff I should’ve grown up knowing.

Could you give me some scriptures as I have a Jewish father but my mother isn't. I have been told over and over by Jews I am not Jewish. A rabbi even said that and I responded saying that I guess Joseph's children weren't Jews either then along with other people of the bible because they married non Jews.

Matthew 7:19-27 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness. Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it. John 15:2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. Isaiah 60:21 Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I might be glorified. Isaiah 29:23 For when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in his midst, they will sanctify my name; they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. Isaiah 61:3 to grant to those who mourn in Zion- to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified. John 15:6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. Hebrews 6:7-8 For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned.
