Truth! My husband pursued me, he didn’t leave any doubt in my mind that he was interested. The previous guys left me hanging for days. lol My husband was constantly blowing up my phone any spare time he had. Sometimes he still does. There’s been a few times, even after 6 yrs of marriage, that I have to double check he’s the one working and I’m the SAHM. 😂😂😂

The bottom line is if he doesn’t call back it can be for many reasons. But every reason ends with “move on” and always, always on a first date don’t give yourself to him. That is unhealthy behavior and shows you need to work on yourself and your boundaries. Remember if “you aren’t right for him, he’s not right for you.” And, that’s okay. You need to know your boundaries and your goals. Nothing is wrong with being a sahm or going to college for a degree and then a career or being a sahm after college. College is not a waste for a sahm, nor is it required. Don’t listen to people who want to define you. You define you with grace, humility and strength. Though it has become distorted by so many, this was the true meaning and original goal of the women’s movement. It’s you being you and being able to do you. My mom was part of the national group promoting it originally in the late 60s and 70s. It was never ever about hating men or wanting to repress or de-masculinate them. Men are just as important and have an essential role in a male/female and parenting relationship. My mom loved and adored my father. She liked/loved his masculinity. You don’t have to accept labels, just be you and love that. I mourned a relationship that seemed almost perfect but he broke up with me after 5+ months. When he wanted to date me again, I had moved on and no longer trusted him with my heart or life. Feeling safe with a man is essential both emotionally and physically. If one or the other is missing, no matter how difficult, walk away.

I agree with most of it. Except for "everytime when the dude tells his side, yep. The girl screwed up." Most all of us women who have dated much at all, find out very quickly that when a guy just ghosts you, it's easy to blame the girl. But a very big part of it is also that many many men have commitment issues and as soon as things get too close, they get scared n run. I've never been accused of being clingy or possessive etc. But.... I'm in Alberta Canada. And we have an issue here of men being terrified of commitment. Just saying that unless men are much different where you are, it's unfair to say that most often the girl has screwed up. Just had to add this. I love your show though!

Women love to complain about the men they pick

@raffertyberkey8239 yes women can complain but so do men. It certainly goes both ways. My point is not about complaining. It's about the idea that if a man doesn't want to date a woman, it's her fault. Period. And that too goes both ways.

@@roxanneforsberg1877 considering how many men will never get a chance with women, it's the woman's fault if a guy doesn't call her back. She either picked poorly or she did something wrong.

I took that comment completely differently. To me, it sounded like Christine meant the girl messed up by calling him, not that she messed up on the date.

This is a lesson we girls need to learn from BIRTH. None of this ‘oh he is mean to you because he likes you’ BS

Of course you arent for him because he isn’t for you. At times I do feel like if someone doesn’t like you we always think it’s us, but in reality they are not for us either we’re not for each other it’s a growing experience of learning about yourself more but remember you’re not the one for someone that’s not the one for you.
