The number one any dog needs to learn is the come command. Saves the dogs life as well as other animals.

From what I understand anatolian shepards do not take commands like most dogs they respond only when they want to. They are mote independent than most dogs. Kinda like a cat in that regard.

Every dog needs good recall even if it’s a livestock guardian dog that’s one thing every dog should have because it keeps them safe so work on her recall and get her to where she comes when called because they’ll keep her safe and keep her from getting attacked if she was to get out again

Me too I said when he was still a 10 week old puppy start small but start soon! And I gave advice on recall training later it scares the crap out of me when I see dogs that ignore calls I've seen it turn deadly! 😢

Yes it does save life’s but LSGD r very independent thinkers. Much more than an average dog. It’s what makes them good at guarding without supervision telling them what to do. They r loaners in that regard and there for independent thinkers. Makes them not be as good at commands as other breeds. Something maybe u can understand a little more knowing there nature to work alone in the night. Not because someone is out there telling them what to do but because it’s there instinct to do guarding on their own.

Keep a leash there at the barn in case you need it while you're out there...... Would be nice if you got Cora to come when called stop when told to stop just basic commands for her own safety....

Cora stayed out to do her job and protect her goats. Once the goats were in, it only took a little coaxing to get her back in.

As usual, the dogs don't respond to Kevin's calls. When he says "come here, come on girl.." she goes away and lies down... no authority on them. My mother was the same with her dogs, the more she screamed for them to come to her, the more they ran away...

In fact, you need to work on recall with all of your dogs not just her if you get them to the point that they’ll come when called you’ve accomplished it. The thing with training dogs is you have to be repetitive when training you can’t just do it once and expect the dog to learn it. You have to do it over and over again until they get it and then they’ll eventually get it and they’ll come when called

@@lizard4108 these folks spend a lot of time around their dogs so they have the time to properly train these dogs. They just haven’t really worked on it which they need to because that would keep their dogs safe. Every dog needs to learn recall whether it’s a pet dog or any dog like a livestock guardian dog, recall is what keeps animals safe, especially dogs whether they’re working or just pets if they really cared about their dogs like they say they do. They would work with them on recall and they only have four that’s not that many plus the only one they really need to work with it seems like is Cora

Rose of Sharon shrubs are prolific and propegate very well every year on their own, so just be careful how many you plant on your own. We have over 25+ & counting, and only 5 were planted by us!

Kora is out because the goats got out. It’s her job to watch and protect them. And you let Russell out all the time so I guess she wanted to explore for a few minutes after you got the goats back in the barn. Lol When she noticed they were all back in she came right back.

FYI, I used to have a male dog who loved eating theses flowers .. In most cases, hibiscus is non-toxic for pets, but the Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) is a type of hibiscus that can be harmful to your furry friend. If a dog ingests a significant amount of this hibiscus' flower, they can experience nausea, diarrhea, and vomiting.

I love to watch bee keepers. Recently I had a swam and called a bee keeper and he was at my house in a few minutes. Saw the hive figured what he needed went home and then returned and took the hive. The queen was there. Yes I would love to buy you guys honey. Please let us know.

Went to a furniture store last year. Small tree in parking lot had a swarm. Store manager called a beekeeper. Swarm was utilized and was awesome to see.

Freeze dry all the excess eggs. In case of dire emergency, people,dogs and chickens can all eat eggs to stay alive!

Yes I'd like u to video the honey harvest. You are an honest funny down to earth person that makes mistakes, as we all do, just you get "outs" cuz you videoing, we are not. Yes, u clicked the gate lock, just didn't catch and you didn't ensure like you normally do by leaving your hand on til the action is complete. @@marylouise890, do you watch the walkers? The live in Oklahoma, but I don’t know how far from Salina. Gary has a particular day he delivers maybe up to 13 doz eggs to a pantry weekly. (Maybe a little less sometimes) (I live in Oregon and people were always wanting our fresh eggs….We had 12-18 chickens)

Here is an idea. Do a farmers stand down by your mail box or at the end of your driveway, where people can come buy your eggs. Look at Cog hill farm and what they did.

My heart dropped when Kora got out, I knew you said in previous videos she doesn’t like Mojo and him being older, she could have seriously hurt him, and the thought of that happening is very upsetting. Kora would not have hurt Mojo very much, his fur is too think, she might have got his legs, but that's all. Mojo could have hurt her badly, with his weight and height. It is a blessing that they didn't get together.

It looked like you closed the gate but it might not have latched . Speaking about your memory next time you are filling up a water tank turn on a timer on your watch and the beep will remind you to go turn off the water so it doesn't overflow . Kora is a good girl she was just enjoying the new surroundings . No idea why she doesn't like Mojo he is such a good dog and a cutie ! Feed bin is looking pretty low !

Wow that must have been heart racing. I think it's great the way you handled everything. Your goats are awesome and came home. Cora is beautiful. She didn't go far. She stayed with her goats. Thank you for even sharing that event with us. As far as Mojo goes, only our Lord knows what would of really happened. We are all imperfect humans and very under qualified to be judging anyone. That's God’s job. How are we to learn if we don't first make an error. I wasn't worried, concerned, anxious, upset at all about the situation. It had already happened and you took care of it. Yes I love to watch a bee keeper. Recently a swam came to my house and there is a bee keeper 1/2 mile from me and I called him he was at my house in just a few minutes. Saw them went back home to get what he needed and took them home and there was a queen in that hive. A few days later he told me they were still there and loving the hive he put them in. I have asked over a year if you had some to sell. Please let me know. Thank you so much.

Hello here a post from the Netherlands the bush you are talking about is a Hibiscus and I have a few in my garden they leave hundreds of seeds when they bloomed so I have hundreds of little plants in my garden, so maybe you can save their flowers when they are done and dryed a bit put in a pot and you have lots of little plants, greetings from the Netherlands
