You should say, "I was confused", not "I confused". "Confused" is an adjective here, not a verb.

Trancitive means directly we see the object. But intrancitive should feel indirect object only. for example . I see. I has seen.

You can either say " he was absent" or "he had been absent" but we don't say he had absent. Rather we can say "he had absented"
