Good evening ma'am. Currently am working as an assistant professor in an engineering College in A.P. When I started my career, I used to watch some of your videos in another channel.(2016) , which were very helpful. Your pronunciation,diction everything was perfect. But few months later when I searched (for"vennila sathyamurthy"as I remember) I could hardly find your videos. Now at last found your channel. But came to know it's focused only in Tamil. This message is only for appreciation.

Thank you! You are right. After I made videos for the other channel ( Btechguru Bodhbridge) in 2015, there was a break. Then I started my channel in December 2018. I made videos only in English in the beginning but then I discovered that people would benefit more if taught in Tamil.

grammer is a formula which never change in any language..but plse avoid your mathemetical approaching we are able to learn other languages within 3 or 5 months. but why not english like this even after 12 years learning???? it is mistake in teahing side but not student side there is no need grammer applecable in speaking of any language.. my suggestion plse display some pictures during teaching write any sensentece in both enlish amd tamul on the white board but transalation should be pefect match with tamil. don't change word as your convenience in tamil. 100% perfect translation helps to 50% learning. any language learning should be easily understandable with interesting not irritating to the learners and audience.. conclusion i encourage. but your methodology is not suitable for learning.. pls totally change the way of your approach.. thanks..

What is time line
@EnglishwithVennila
@EnglishwithVennila Жыл бұрын
"What is a timeline? One of the keys to learning a language is learning how that language refers to, and describes, time and events, or states, that occur in the realm of time. In English, this reference to time is most commonly described by the verb, in its various tenses and aspects. Unfortunately, when learning a language, it is at times difficult to understand the concepts that are given as explanation. Timelines are diagrams that illustrate the reference to time made by a given piece of language. They are used to show how a particular language item (often a verb in a particular tense and aspect) places particular events or situations in time and in relation to other events. Why use timelines? The concepts which underline time reference in a language are often difficult to explain using controlled language and are often linguistically difficult to understand. Timelines are used to explain language in the more universal form of pictures, diagrams and symbols. Most people will follow the direction indicated by an arrow. Timelines are used to: ✓Simplify linguistic explanation ✓Reinforce the understanding of a concept ✓Illustrate the differences between verb forms and other language items ✓Help students with a visual learning style ✓Provide a reference point for students ✓Encourage awareness of how language refers to time in different ways. A horizontal line represents the basic line of time. The left end of the line is the first point in time, the right end is the final point in time. Thus, time is deemed to move forward as the line moves from left to right." Source: British Council www.teachingenglish.org.uk/article/timelines

@EnglishwithVennila
@EnglishwithVennila Ай бұрын
Both are correct. But there is a difference. When you use the past tense, it is about the past. You planned in the past. You 'had' a plan. It is not connected to the present. You either cancelled the plan or changed the date. When you use the present perfect tense, it is connected to the present. You still have the plan to visit the person on the date mentioned.

No no.. "school days" is a past period of time. Just remember this point. The present perfect is not used with past points of time and past periods of time.
