‘He is very unwell’: King Charles’ funeral plans requiring regular updates

Concerns over King Charles are growing as the Monarch’s health is reportedly progressively deteriorating.
According to the New York Post, Buckingham Palace officials have regularly updated the King’s funeral plans.
The funeral plans for King Charles reportedly began following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.
After Charles’ cancer prognosis announcement, sources close to The Daily Beast have revealed the King’s health situation is “not good”.
An old friend of the Royal Family spoke to The Daily Beast about the King’s reportedly worsening health.
“Of course, he is determined to beat it, and they are throwing everything at it. Everyone is staying optimistic, but he is really very unwell. More than they are letting on,” they said.

Totally agree. My husband is in remission and doing exceptionally well after an operation to remove a high grade cancer which was found elsewhere during a prostate operation. He is just very unwell after each subsequent preventative treatment. The King will perform his duties In between treatments. Cancer is not always a death sentence.

This is just for getting views . Funeral plans are regularly checked and revised if necessary. This paying close attention to funeral plans may possible go back to a problem when Queen Victoria died. charles is close to 80 years old. Even without a diagnosis of cancer--his death is not far off. Naturally with all the details involved- his funeral plans must be progressing towards the final draft rather quickly. I would not be surprised if Prince William’s funeral plans are not also being planned. There are so many parts and details to be ironed out that it must take years to finalize, also depending on where the monarch dies necessitates different plans for each location!

This is absolutely normal. London Bridge funeral plans were updated regularly and the same applies to Menai Bridge plans for KCIII's funeral. You can't organise a funeral that big on a whim. Those in charge come and go, so it's essential that the plans are updated and tweaked regularly. The conspiracy theories on here are ridiculous.

You make it sound like this is an unusual occurrence. The late Queen was often adjusting her funeral plans. It's necessary depending on which troops are deployed, which clergy are in post etc. Mourner lists have to be drawn up depending on who's in government.
