I really hate how biased the culture has been against Drake, we really are changing the rules of a battle rap to move the goalpost in favor of Kendrick because rap battles have always been judged based on the BARSSSSS!!! it’s always been about the clever writing and lyricism, the schemes and entendres, the set ups and punchlines, the witty jokes and roasting your opponent, metaphors, the flips and rebuttals and there is not a single objective person out there that can tell me Family Matters doesn’t absolutely stomp Meet The Grahams in every aspect of that and not even taking into account all the subliminal clever shots in the video, the better beat, flow, and and the fact that it’s just a much better that I can bump even years from now but meet the grahams is a gossip session that is absolutely unlistenable if the info isn’t true but even if it’s real, you still have to deliver that information in a clever way and there is absolutely nothing clever about the writing and delivery in that song. The bars are absolutely elementary, There is nothing clever about the lyricism and the way he’s delivering that information to us and sounds like a 7 seven minute interview that sort of rhymes gossip session and everyone is acting like he dropped ether 2.0 and this should be the new gold standard for diss tracks and if that’s so, hip-hop really is dead and we are just in the shade room and care about who has the worst allegations against the other person not the actual rapping because no way believes Kendrick is rapping here… Maybe at some point in the future we will look back and objectively judge bar for bar who actually won but at this moment it seems like the writing was on the wall before it even started people wanted Drake to fail and we’re never going to give him a fair shot And you can tell because he says is considered a lie and we tell him we don’t believe him until he shows proof including things that are literally impossible to prove like proving you don’t have a daughter that you don’t have or proving that you are not a p3d0 how do you prove things that you are not or don’t have? Aren’t you innocent until proven guilty and the burden of proof is on the accuser? Imagine someone just walks up to you and tell you to prove that you are not r@pi$t… you would literally be guilty if the burden of proof was on you to prove that you are not bc it’s legitimately impossible 😂 but people are not even using their brains because they are blinded by their hatred for Drake I see online not one person asking about Drake’s allegations towards Kendrick even though he is the one who has never addressed or flipped or rebutalled what he’s been accused of and Drake has. If we are going to be fair and believe that all the allegations against Drake are true then I guess we have to be fair and assume that Kendrick is a women beating c&ck who abuses his fiancé and watches Dave free pipe her down and impregnate her so he can raise his manager’s child 😬 I’m not saying I believe that but if we’re going to believe Kendrick’s allegations then I guess we have to believe Drakes as well and say that he’s guilty until proven innocent using the same logic 🤷🏽‍♂️
