Are you trying to describe lawful evil or something? Moreover neither of your examples add shades or context to anything, which is what literary/trope terms like this are supposed to do. If your hero is doing 'the right thing the wrong way' and feeding starving children by massacring other people for their flesh, they're just a villain protagonist. They're not an anti-anything. Li Susu's action of whipping him to maintain her cover and save the world was anti-villain, her action of saving him repeatedly for the sake of the world despite her boiling resentment was anti-hero. Tantai Jin tormenting her loved ones in the future and pretending to be evil in front of her to force her to ascend was anti-villain, etc.

Well, this guy that “saves” the world by killing the woman (repeatedly?) - that loves him but is also so powerful that it scares him and other people, who talk and convince him into killing her - isn’t a hero, but a coward. A hero would think of different ways. Being a powerful being, comes with great responsibility ( yes, Spider-Man), but that doesn’t mean that only men are strong enough of taking this responsibility. That the man makes and takes the decision of letting a powerful being exist has nothing to do with his love or his sacrifice, but is clearly distrust, contempt and hate covered with toxic morality and other excuses (lies) to make things easy for himself. Who is the real monster? I vote for him.

De manera objetiva desde mi perspectiva como espectadora después de leer y ver muchas novelas de este tipo de género. Creo sinceramente que él se merece morir cruelmente, ser cortado a pedacitos a manos de la heroina, no puedes andar persiguiendo y matando a una persona que no ha hecho nada malo y es inocente porque dices que traerá el caos. En la novela de hasta el final de la luna hasta susu le dio una oportunidad a taitan jin, el en realidad no era siquiera el villano que se esperaba en el futuro, solo era un hombre acomplejado y atormentado. Y Wei zhi, tampoco... Pobrecita.

I personally like Tantai jin the most among all the heros/anti heros/villians but those who are ranting about heros being inferior to villians haven't seen Shao Dian You Qin (The Starry love).. In reality, deep down girls really want a partner like SDYQ and not any villian/anti-heros... They just look good onscreen

If a hero does that ,he is a bastard if a heroine does that she has her own reasons wow👏👏 I don't understand but why do they have show love between demon and fairy,then fairy has to kill the demon(her lover)with tears in her eyes what the hell it is can't they just show a simple story why to make it so complicated and then kill either hero or heroine in the end and make the audio cry so much begging for season 2!
