Ignorant comment as usual. In Ghana we have Chiefs and we have Chiefs. We have Chiefs who are appointed from the royal home, they have authority and power over their subjects. They are the custodians of the lands. We also have "ceremonial Chiefs" who only bear the title Chiefs*. Any hard working human being can be given that title regardless of where they hail from. That person can be a Chinese, American, Jamaicans, Kenyan, South African, Nigerian etc, their role is just to help bring development to the community. These kind of Chiefs are normally rich and influecial in their field of endeavor. They are mostly Sportsmen, Actors, Musicians, Business mogul, Politicians, Doctors etc. They have no authority over anyone in the community
@Queensofafrica8
@Queensofafrica8 2 жыл бұрын
@@dennisbrown7930 I understand you and understand the difference HOWEVER, NO ONE of foreign blood should bare titles over our people! You do not see the British do this and awarding royal titles or honorary royal or Duke and duchess titles to Africans! So why must Africans do this?? We are ALWAYS giving away things that belong to us!
@dennisbrown7930
@dennisbrown7930 2 жыл бұрын
@@Queensofafrica8 .. Those are just titles, in other words those communities are only trying to tell the person to help them bring development to their communities. If a foreigner is seen doing a lot of good in the society there's nothing wrong with the community giving him or her "developmental chief title"
@cypriantertullian7495
@cypriantertullian7495 2 жыл бұрын
@@dennisbrown7930 ...It is still totally unacceptable for a non black to be carried on the shoulders of black Africans. It reminds us of the colonial days, when Africans had to suffer, carrying mzungus on their shoulders for miles. You go to China's villages and sponsor projects there. The Chinese will still not carry you on their shoulders. So if it can't happen in China, why should it be happening in Africa? Lastly, it's you that knows that the image of a Chinese on African shoulders is harmless. Everyone else in the world will see it differently. You can still honor a non black without lifting them on your shoulders. In Africa, only a black chief should be carried on African shoulders. Also in a black African country, only a black person should be made a chief of any kind.

Jamaicans are at the highest echelons in Society. The First female Vice President of the USA father is Jamaica; a female wife of a chief in Ghana. I am filled with pride. When she said we are all one. She is repeating the Jamaican pledge 'Out of Many one People". Jamaican influence is everywhere. How a tiny island carry so much influence? It is the from the lessons our ancestors taught us, and they were from West Africa. Like Ghana. Jamaica need the knowledge of Jamaicans in the diaspora for growth. I hope as Jamaicans continues to move to Africa that our trades with African countries will increase.

Organization and cleanliness is number one throughout the whole town. Weekly garbage disposal if you cannot recycle it burn it. Proper waste sewage plumbing should be installed Every single person should have their own home with solar panels and water reserves underground and modern plumbing with a backyard and front yard Should be mandatory that everyone has a functioning garden fruits and vegetables everyone has their own cattle chickens livestock All Land should be divided I stones large beautiful stone lines not old metal rusty fences similar to that of Ireland Everyone must make a vow never to steal or harm anyone within the town The educational system should be 75% at home and 25% in school all testing should be done at an educational facility to maintain proper education of standards. But in the home structure must be developed mothers and fathers must teach their children and educational curriculum must be followed in the home where there are no distractions of other students other than siblings. Great coverage of an extremely important event. No disrespect intended to the elders but I couldn't help but notice that they were admonishing the new chief to do this, that and the other so it made me wonder and ask the question; "Respectfully your excellencies, but what have you all been doing before this new Chief's enstoolment"? I honestly hope that the elders and the community understand that though he has been bestowed the responsibility to develop the village the burden should not be his alone to bear. Along with all the sage advice and admonishing he received, he needs the substantive support of the chieftancy and the community not just lip service. 🙌🏿

Woda Maja I am so extra impressed by this whole video. You know why…? Because I’ve seen and heard so many similarities ( music with the drums and tradition) of the maroon tribe in my country Suriname 🇸🇷 Now I truly believe that we (black people) came from Ghana like they’re teaching us in school. A proud Surinamese always watching your videos. 🙌🏼💞

Ghana is looking to their people in the diaspora to bring change and growth to the nation. Of course they will have to make it easy to set up start businesses and make rent and housing affordable. There are many videos about cost of living in Ghana, which is good to check out before visiting.

Quite an interesting video, The Chief choice of words are immaculate, he's right on point, and yes it's a must we ought to reculture our mindset in order to manifest grow and blossom and ready for harvest in this new global era. And my blessings to is Jamaican born British Wife, and from the way she sounds she doesn't have much experience about Jamaica... My peace I leave with you, Thanks from 🇯🇲

West Africa is full of people with wisdom and problem identifying skills. Our biggest problem is how to streamline those gift and makes it a systems where everyone would obey and follow. We haven't been able to do it. I use to think black people were not cut out to run a country with discipline until I found out about Rwanda. In my humble opinion I believe black Africa can only develope with sensible one party state systems with strict discipline and goals.
