@@WODEMAYA great video mi nnua beyma (translate what i said in Twi)! One thing to keep in mind brother, there’s also Arawak-Taino Indians, the Guanahatabey Indians, and the Arawak Carib Indians. They are dark-skinned but they don’t show their faces in media as often… People that have Melanin skin are found all over the world. If it weren’t for Mother Haiti, we might’ve never been freed of the oppression we faced in the past 🇭🇹💙❤️ We’ve been historically brainwashed to think that we are inferior to the Albino European White-skinned people that ultimately descended from Europe. It is a fact in science that they are not genetically or biologically supreme but they go to any effort to continue this lie & enrich themselves… Once I’m walking again I’d love to discuss all these predictions & topics that could literally shape the future of our continent of Africa, Caribbean, etc. and liberate us from the horrors of our history as Dr. PLO Lumumba always talks about. I can message you on IG or wherever you’re on social media brother whenever you see this.

I'm from Congo 🇨🇬, I have Haitians friends and my girlfriend is also from there. They eat wakey (riz collé) just like in Ghana and many other African countries. I'm discovering that we have so many things in common culturally and I feel like we come from neighboring countries. One day my friend said he was going to eat Manba and I asked him what is Manba? He answered: peanut butter. I was like really? 😳. In Congo we call peanut butter mwamba. Ganga is priest in Haiti and in Congo Nganga means priest. That's an absolute proof that we are sons of the same mother. I love you brothers and sisters from🇭🇹. ❤️❤️❤️

Wode Maya, thanks for this vlog on Haiti, who because of language barrier (French) is often left out of English language discussions. I am Jamaican living in the USA who discuss Haiti with many Haitian friends from work and my Catholic parish with a Haitian Priest/Pastor. Many of my Haitian friends are hard working and highly educated (doctors, engineers etc) so they have the ability to build their country. On vacation in Savannah, Georgia, USA, there is a monument to the Haitian soldiers from Saint Dominique/Haiti who fought, on the side of Americans, in the War of Independence. The aspiring President has a vision but he is not a dictator. So I pray for unity among Haitians, with cooperation and less outside interference, to rebuild Haiti, the Pearl of the Caribbean. This Jamaican American wants Haiti to shine!!!

Haitian .. his family is also involved with caring for the neighbors but what astonishes me is that they themselves barely have anything but continue to share .. true Christians.. we recently purchased a house there after renting for years housing children but needing more room ! I encourage other people to do the same … it’s life changing :) God sees our efforts . Psalm 41:1-3

Haití is my favorite vacation spot in the World! It’s so secluded that I don’t want the world to know about it 😂😂🤣 I went to Dom. Rep and the beaches was full of people to the point I couldn’t really enjoy! Then I crossed the border man I was the only one at the beach and the water looked blue just like in Turks and Caicos and it made sense! I could see Turks and Caicos from where I was at! Now I know why the Clintons love vacationing there. I went to the Citadelle and I believe I was the only tourist which I enjoyed compared to going to Chichén Itza in Mexico full of people! Haiti’s beauty is underrated!!! 🇭🇹

The problem is that most people visiting the Dominican Republic only go to some few known places (Punta Cana, Bávaro, Sosua and Boca chica) those places are overly crowded because that’s what the government advertises, so many people think that’s all DR has to offer when that’s not even the 20% the DR can offer, we locals have our own share of beaches where we can be in touch with the nature and away from the crowds 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃.

I am from Brasil and iam very proud that my ancestors kept their own religion spite of all the repression. For this reason we are proud of what we are because somehow we held to our own culture instead of following Christianity that was only used to make the Africans feel inferior and it pains me to hear that nowadays Africans feel ashamed of their own spirituality tradition. Does it feel natural to your to be praying for a white son of god? I much prefer to pray for Oxymoron Ogum, Xangô and all the divinities of my ancestors. This is our heritage even that now we find Brasil culture is a mix of everything but iam proud of all my roots because they were survivors. ❤️🇧🇷
