The thing is that he did have a chance to become "better" (though really all he had to do was apologize and pay for his actions by going to jail because he's a fraudster and he committed crimes against innocent people). But he never wanted to apologize to his victims or anything. He had 18 YEARS to realize his mistakes and apologize to his victims, but he didn't do anything. He was only ever "good" when his daughter was in front of him but whenever she was out of the picture, this man was pure evil and was willing to remain evil by continuing to torment people and even torment the same victims he tormented 18 years ago as a teenager, he was also using his money as an adult to get out of trouble (corrupt police). He and his mother's child are evil to the core. This guy wasn't willing to change. He just kept blaming everyone else and even blamed the MC for doing something to his daughter when the MC hadn't even done anything to the daughter. Did you watch the drama or even a recap of it? Because this man is far from good. Just because he interacted with his daughter a couple of times doesn't make him a good father. He was missing for most of her life (yes it wasn't his fault that he didn't know the child was his) but that's the reason it won't matter if his child is taken abroad because the child doesn't even know who this man is. In the video, she has no reaction to him. In the rest of the drama, the child is traumatized by her mother's evil deeds, and the only one who's able to comfort her is the man that raised her as his daughter. The husband of the wife who's not even the girl's real dad is the only one who gets to act as her father. The husband fulfilled the shoes of the father, and even when he found out that the girl was not his child, he still loved her unconditionally. Don't get fooled by the guy in the video just by watching a single video of him being nice to his child. This man doesn't deserve to see the day of light. He was a bully in the past, and along with his gang of bullies, he would burn multiple victims with hair straighteners and irons. That's how crazy the bullies in this drama are, and that's not even bullying; that's a whole crime right there. This man doesn't deserve happiness. He deserves to rot in prison (spoiler: though he does die in the drama). Not to mention the guy in the video also kept defending the mother of his child despite her being straight up a psychopath with no remorse for what she had done in the past and how she murdered two people too (spoiler: well really she murdered one but helped in murdering another though she didn't send the last blow to finalize it). Still, the mom of the child is crazy and they do NOT deserve to be parents. Both of them got multiple chances to apologize to their victims. Literally, they had 18 YEARS to apologize, and even so, when they met their victims again, none of them were apologetic. The MC never got blood on her hands to get her revenge against these bullies. They bullies just ended up manipulating and murdering each other off to save their a$$es from the law and public embarrassment. They were just "business partners" but not real friends, that's what led to the bullies murdering each other for their own selves (they were selfish) only by the MC pulling a few strings around. The own bullies digged their own grave.

He sexually harasses the FL in high school and rapes another classmate of his, which results in her being pregnant - later she's murdered.... Do you really think that he deserves to see his child?

He had planned to do that, until his lawyer said it was impossible. He then tries to get the mother to divorce her husband, which would only give the child even more trauma. He completely disregards the child’s actual needs and even openly taunts the husband, which could also change the way the husband interacts with the child, which is even more trauma(imagine if your dad suddenly started treating you like shit because they found out you weren’t blood-related.) so yeah, actual shit father if he wants to take care of the kid. If he had his kid’s best interest in mind, he wouldn’t be playing these games or trying to take the child away from their current established family. He’s only thinking about himself and just thinks “oh since that’s mine, it belongs to me obviously.” Without giving any care or thought about what’s happened already. Sorry idk why I’m getting so heated lol. Also I think my personal trauma with blood-related parents have made me completely desensitized to things like “oh blood is thicker than water” or “even monsters love their child” cause that is absolute dogshit lol, so I don’t feel any sympathy, especially when his actions don’t reflect actual thoughtful intent, and it just seems selfish and self-serving.
