The MH set bonus and hp scaling allow us to give him sht substats and still killing it.

Honestly one of the big things for me is that personally I find him very fun to play as well. I know part of that is how "easy" he is to play but there really is something satisfying about just firing a huge water Kamehameha at all your enemies and watching them explode. His Charge attack also just feels like such a change of pace compared to spamming normal attacks, dash cancels, CA/plunge spam etc There's a lot of characters that just feel a bit clunky to play by comparison.

My favorite part about Neuvillette is that I can just slap 3 units I'm barely using with him and it just works since usually he can just solo abyss anyway. Even qiqi with her long ass CD can keep the draconic whatever stack alive. Is it like using Eula in hyperbloom? idc whatever I got to unbench those characters, any way I see it is a win

@you-yn5hpthats not how powercreep works. If a character doesn’t have any off-field application/other utilities, then that character will be powercrept eventually. Its a gacha game at the end of the day. The devs will try to make as much profit as they can with new released dps. The reason why characters like Xingqiu/yelan/furina/Xiangling will be difficult to powercreep is because of off-field application and other utilities.

He is more likely than not blacklisted due to his frequent negative takes on genshin. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, because you know he isn't biased, unlike someone who would be under HOYO supervision.

I'm using Baizhu for similar reasons of Furina stacks and comfort, but now I'm starting to think of pivoting to Charlotte too, since C1 IR removes the benefits of Baizhu's shield. Though it is very funny using Neuvi-Baizhu on one side and Nilou on the other and calling it bloom meta. I tried the Zhongli team and DPS be damned, it just doesn't feel good at all. I'd rather use him elsewhere and have full HP supports and max stacks on Furina.

The issue was the way shields were elemental + Abyss being timed. Zhongli's shield was effectively weaker than Diona and Xinyan's against pyro and cryo enemies, which were way more abundant than geo back in 1.1 (and I feel like most of Inazuma too). And his long burst cutscene made it essentially a dps loss for bad crowd control compared to Venti, freeze, Sucrose. Other than that there was inherent clunkiness in his kit like not having interruption resistance but his shield was tied to hold skill, while Diona could press for smaller shield or hold for bigger. It meant you often got staggered WHILE TRYING TO ACTIVATE THE THING MEANT TO PREVENT DAMAGE. Whatever their vision was, they forgot key aspects of their own game when designing Zhongli's kit. The backlash was deserved.

@@isas.5667 He’s not really a unit that needs grouping from Venti and doesn’t benefit from Sucrose’s EM buff much, so Kazuha is actually a good option for him over them. I’d say Furina and Nahida are better options than Kazuha if you don’t have them for Neuvillete. Completely up to you though, he has literally everything you’d need in a team by himself so it doesn’t matter much who else you want for the team.

They already have a ton of shield enemies like the Fat Abyss Knight. They just don't put them out because gotta nerf Xiao again with yet another Anemo resistant abyss

Childe can vape like 300k to 400k on his ranged burst vape alone in a sizable AoE, and has quadratic on his attacks...he does over 45 percent of the dmg in International. He's irreplaceable for it. You can use Neuvi, sure, but what Childe does cannot be replicated. Childe's rotation and skill being variable allows to fit XL's rotation time perfectly with her CDs. Neuvi can't really do that as smoothly. Childe can also be used in many other teams, it's just that International is so powerful that while he can go into any team that wants on field hydro driving, he applies so much that usually you don't need it at all. It's just a waste of his talents to be put in other teams. He can work in them, it's just better to put someone more suited for it like Kokomi/Barb for Nilou instead of Childe, etc...

Zhongli has a bad habit of tanking dps, but we don't talk about that.

Zhongli is his best shielder by far, he's basically buffing furina and neuvillete with a 2nd kazuha buff since he can hold archaic petra, and fischl is strictly single target so she isn't providing more in almost every scenario especially if neuv is c0

Electrocharged can also stun non boss enemies, so if the enemies were anything smaller than Ruin Graders, you were likely stunning the enemies out of attacking you. If you were instead bossing and still avoiding hits, congrats on upskilling 😊 (learned that from another video from this channel talking about Tazer teams)

No cap, you should try Lisa with prototype amber, she gives defense reduction with her ult and she can heal your team with prototype amber, making it easier to build stacks on furina, it is such an underrated option, you just need her at lvl 70 and you don't need to upgrade her talents at all

Depend if you have budget get c1. His c1 make his team don't rely in shield and you gained extra dragonic stack by attacking. Neuvillette c1 make his team build more flexible.

Cuz if i'll be playing his best team, zhongli basically gives the interrupt resistance. And supposedly the correct abyss lineup would let me get all 3 stacks anyway. So even tho c1 will give more team building options, it wouldnt actually open up a team that does better than neuv, furina, kazuha, and zhongli?

I would actually recommend his weapon over his C1 but I know its not a 1:1 comparison.

It's worth if you paired him with Furina. He have more team flexibility (You don't need Zhongli or Shield) and you get 1 extra dragonic stack by using charged attack. I have C1 Neuvillette, for me he most comfortable to use.

I agree. I have both characters at C0R1 and while Neuvillette does way more damage than Ayato, I can still find situations to play Ayato in (with NA supports or when I need off-field hydro as well for example).

Ayato also has the advantage of actually having off-field damage so you can even heretically play him exclusively as a burst support. Yes dedicated hydro off-fielders exist, but I’d say it’s still pretty valuable that Ayato has off-field capabilities in his base kit when we consider both long-term general use and Abyss challenge modes. I don’t think Neuvi even has cons to solve his strict on-fielder role like C4 Childe either, so as strong as Neuvi is, when people get tired of his playstyle or just want to try different characters he’s gonna end up fully benched. As a personal anecdote, I got Ayato early by accident (I would’ve accepted it if he came at a normal pity but early is painful because after ~40 pity Childe I went 20 into Zhongli to further test my luck & if I had just gone 4 more singles I would’ve had C2…) and knew I would never use him as intended because I have enough on-fielders to manage. Thankfully his burst buffs NAs a bit so with 4pc Noblesse (why is he now my 3rd best CV on Akasha?) & a Fav he can be thrown into my Wanderer team and do decently well. I still prefer C6 Fischl for general use and Childe for big pyro shield breaking, but I can make great uses for Ayato against for example the Thunder Bat to keep him from fully collecting dust. If it were Neuvi… I would have no use for him & would be more pissed I got the wrong dragon. Hell I probably wouldn’t have even tried for Kuki & Kirara cons in the first place. And C4+ Kirara is actually good as a defensive unit for a Wanderer that runs Fischl as last slot, so that would be sad.

Probably bcs he has res shred in his shield(and 4pc petra) but with those kind of team(full invested + cons) I don't think it'll make a huge diff if it's between baizhu or zhongli. Also we might sometimes missed zhongli's crystallize reaction and neuvi won't get his dragon stack so uhh using baizhu is more comfy ig?? Since he heals a ton and better at applies reaction

in burgeon it's abit rough, i think his best burgeon team uses Kazuha and Dehya. Kazuha is there because Dehya's Off field app is really slow, XL is just too energy hungry without benny.

​@@usmanya5110It's not about the ER. Though it does hurt it's not impossible. Xiangling just applies too much Pyro for Neuvillettes slowish Hydro application. The only thing you get out of Xiangling + Dendro in Neuvillette teams are BurnVape teams that cannot really generate any Seeds

We don't have Pyro who can trigger attack while charging.

kazuha xiangling technically for vape, i do not like the gameplay and xiangling ER reqs but it's technically one of his best c1 teams since you dont need IR, I would still run zhongli anyway because res shred and petra are good.

He does his job perfectly at c0, you can grab layla since she can help with freezing enemies a little bit

You can very easily do without his c1/shielder even. His range and mobility is quite really good. While staggering is a problem, it really is manageable and if it's a problem you can always use a shielder.

He is totally fine at C0 and doesn't need the interruption resistance. You can move while charge attacking while being at range so its not that difficult to dodge enemy attacks.

Thank you all. I've always spent primogems on a weapon banner only if I need BOTH of weapons. I think I'll do the same this time. I can get Nevillet's signature on his next rerun. Rather than waste primogems on a useless freedom sworn, I'd rather leave them for a couple of C for Furina or something else.

Kazuha is probably the best one here to help if you wanna improve your national team, though if you wanna play 2nd team you can go for neuvillette if you don't have any options, since both don't kinda share the same spot.

You're a dedicated Childe main so I'd say get Kazuha ASAP. People say Childe is a Xiangling slave but he's more of a Kazuha slave IMO. In every good Childe team besides international (freeze, taser, intergrassional), Kazuha should be there since his CC is perfect for Childe. Literally no other anemo unit grants the same comfort for a Childe main.

its about er not about "proper" rotation if ur on 0 er 2 es are NOT getting u to full burst , if ur runing 20 -30 % and 1 -2 favs by the time u have to use 2nd e ur probably almost ready to burst again ( in single target ) in aoe mobs drop particles on death so less er requirements.

That's why I using Sacrificial Fragments or Prototype Amber for my Neuvillette.

Maybe I should try to get Ayato after I get Arlecchino. I have two accounts I also have neuvillette. It's seem Ayato is fine character.

poor guy. he's fine though and he's pretty flexibile and a decent damage dealer, but honestly idk if that matters if you have if you can brute force your way through. or say use another character that can be better, he doesn't have have BiS team either, Like Childe at least has a really strong team where he works best, and the teams where i think where he is best are somewhat contentious with the Fish Priest. i will say this though he don't suffer from powercreep as say Albedo like he isn't below average character.
