I'm not an expert but I do think it's not possible for you to be awake during a grand mal. A grand mal is disorganized discharge of your entire brain, including your consciousness centres, if you were awake that means it's not a grand mal seizure.

@adityajadav9933 I'm not sure, but I have been awake for two full body seizures, first one I had no fucking clue as to what was happening. These, again, puzzle my doctors. I remember the first vaguely, but mostly what happened after as I tried figuring out what was happening and hopped on my xbox trying to ask friends about it. Was only 16. The other at work. My seizures are triggered via stress, if that matters at all.

Looked into it a bit more just now, focal aware seizures apparently. They're only partial, but for the most part mimic a grand mal. When I was 13 or so,I was having severe pain in my my belly. When the Dr was asking me questions about the pain they asked when I started my period, at 10 yrs old, they also asked if I might be pregnant,I said Im only 13.Their response, girls your age can get pregnant, well Im not I dont do that. Apparently they didnt beleive me,so they wanted to do a pelvic exam and a pregnancy test. My Mom had stepped out of the room for a moment and they asked all of these questions. Once they mentioned the test and exam,I started to cry and told whoever was in the room w/ me to go get my Mom. Tehy didnt do either one and concluded it was kidneys giving me issues. The hospital couldve have been sued real quick if my Mom wouldve acted on it. Im grateful my Mom didnt take any crap from the Dr's. Im sure she gave them a pc of her mind that day

I literally need ssri's because I'm autistic, and have quite a few trauma related issues, so my brain doesn't make enough serotonin, short, Ive needed them most of my life but unfortunately I can't take any "safe" low dose ones because they either make me angry or irritated, can cause seizures or give me chronic hiccups. Even makes my anxiety worse, but I'm going through it. Gonna try therapy to see if that helps before going back on meds

We're talking about House, here. That's his unique little personality quirk. The odds of a doctor finding this comment are already extremely low, for them to also be an eccentric like House is just not gonna happen.
