Tom speaks truth and I'm no hater of his. But, "quantity over quality", "begging for billboards" and all the hints about their core beliefs being similar all but spells it out in plain English. And there's also another thing to consider. Tom basically endorsed the Daily Wire by doing that track with Ben Shapiro, and the daily wire is a point of division amongst the non-leftist crowd.

@@oceanwaves83 it might be the truth...but is quantity over quality because people really need to hear the obvious over and over again, or is it about what's guaranteed to make money? Figuring out 100 ways to tell you "the sky is still blue" isn't exactly an artistic risk or exhibition of skill. It might be the truth, but at some point it just becomes pandering for money.

@@Mule-chezedek I get that but his message is often quite accurate AND far more detailed than "sky is blue". Honestly I wouldn't have much of a complaint at all if he had better hooks and more variation. The end product simply isn't as polished as it could be.

@@oceanwaves83 pandering is still pandering regardless of accuracy or detail. And that's all fine if you're only interested in politics and having your own views parroted back at you. But rap is a competition, and when you start bragging that your the best or biggest in the game...and you're really not showing that much range or skill...you're gonna get called out and be a target. That's exactly why independents hate pop rappers, they get numbers by pandering trends to kids and think numbers make them a good artist. Tom's not much different. He gets numbers by pandering to politics and runs his mouth too much, when his lyrics and delivery are mediocre.
