Jay Park is an icon! He used to be the leader of the 2nd Gen KPOP group, 2PM. He was the IT Guy during that time frame, and helping to establish 2PM as the "beastly idols". He left in 09 due to controversial comments he made on his myspace when he was a trainee still adjusting to Korea from the USA (honestly pretty mild, but Netizens did not take kindly to it at the time). This lead to him going on a hiatus, and then eventually leaving of the group and company. He made a spell on KZfaq for a little while hanging out with the likes of Ryan Higa and Wongfu Productions. He went viral for doing a cover of B.O.B's Nothing on You. After that viral video, he came back to Korea under Sidus HQ, one of the larger labels at the time, and then slowly made his way back into the Korean spotlight. Eventually he would leave and establish his own hiphop labels with the help of Dok2 and Simon D; those would eventually become AOMG and H1GHER Music as we know today. Currently he's got a 3rd label hes created called More Vision where instead of HipHop, he is training an idol group, and giving another try at his idol roots.

This is one of the best / concise descriptions I've gotten on our channel - you basically gave us a crash course on Jay Park!! That's awesome! Also, I LOVE Wong Fu Productions and grew up on that whole Asian KZfaq gang. Was Jay Park in any of their vids? I need to go back and check those out! I personally love a lot of the hiphop stuff with AOMG and H1GHER Music. Tbh he's really kind of inspired me as the other kind of k-pop all-rounder. The kind that reinvents themselves not only in music but in production and entrepreneurship. Plus he's from Seattle and so am I. And it's that hometown pride. Omg I remember seeing this years ago!! Like legit 12-13 years ago when it came out! Back then I knew Asian KZfaqrs way more than I do k-pop stars. Wow. I had no idea who Jay Park was but apparently he’s always been there!!

No way!! I didn’t know that. How fun! We’ve only done one song from Oh My Girl on our channel and that was Dun Dun Dance. And honestly, I only know that song bc they did it in the dance game in HYBE x Game Caterers episode. That and the fact that one of the members is in Alchemy of Souls. That’s the Oh My Girl knowledge that I have. But still really cool to see cameos and collabs everywhere ☺️☺️ Thanks for watching!!

Seriously me too ... bawling 😭😭😭😭 But she's coming to LA in August and I can't wait to see her in concert!! I might also cry there hahaha. But for joy. ☺️☺️
