@@VON-ic1gh Wrong, it’s part of the plot. God of Medicine is a being made of light itself and thus he doesn’t cast a shadow. It’s the same concept with a fire not casting a shadow.

Fire isn't "light", it's plasma made of the material that you're burning to make the fire, and that will cast a shadow if the light it produces is overshadowed (pun intended) by another, more powerful, light source

Shouldn't he be invisible if no light touches him? Shadows are cast simply because objects block light. If light passes through a solid object it's because it's transparent.

The people that do figure out he isn’t farma choose to not press him for the truth because they know how powerful he can be. Seeing as how he has 2 full god crests, and has knowledge centuries more advanced in many fields. In the novels, he even helps develop the letter press to assist newspaper writers (yes it does help in medicine as well). The empress makes it clear to not antagonize or impede farma as she understands that even if he isn’t the kid before being struck by lightning, he is the kid the country truly needs.

Except he can't go through walls and fly. Flying might be easily achieved by creating a glider and use the water spear as propulsion. Phasing through the body can make him the most OP surgeon if he has practiced surgery.

Haven't seen this anime yet, but most MCs tend to have an absurd amount of hustle to them. They work harder, longer and faster than their "peers", with the primary exception being heavyweight battle-protags like Luffy/Goku, although even in Luffy's case, he's on a record-pace for conquering the Grand Line, so....IDK.

This is one of my top favorite animes

Also alot of people are overthinking the reasons behind his lack of shadow. Japanese light novelists are not very creative and usually have very loose understandings of science and the laws of physics. 100% this is just a visual representation of him being "not of that world" it's just something they use from time to time. Like the stupid cursed eye or evil trapped in your hand nonsense. You are looking for logic where there is none XD

They weren't really as dumb as people say they were. The whole concept of "Dark age" is much just a misnomer stemming from the past's version of today's "I was born in the wrong generation" folks. They were big on Rome and hated all things medieval (at the time relatively "modern"). Granted, they probably would freak out if they saw what they viewed as a literal god walking around front of them, but then again people in the modern era would probably freak out if we saw an alien or something. People tend to freak out when faced with the unknown or overwhelming power.

I think the added shadows on his body was just a way to make him more 3D and not just flat, but yeah it’s a bit miscalculated there. I can understand the clothing making a shadow since they’re not part of him per se. I just gave it a blind eye xD still a really good anime
