Brooklyn bars are the home to money-moving activities in the night, and Bob knows this very well, limiting himself to do his job with a quiet mouth. It all gets complicated when, after a robbery, Bob rescues a small Pitbull puppy during Christmas, and now he has to deal with a maniac and his ex-girlfriend, the bar mob, and his own demons from the past.

When he says “Sure you did” then shoots dude in the throat at the end.. completely caught me off guard. Also how Gandolfini’s reaction right before being shot at the end still haunts me because of how realistic it is. Dude knows there’s nothing he can do with the guy walking up to his window, so he just flinches and waits for assured death

The whole movie is building up to a boiling point that solves two mysteries, and it's fkn worth it!! You might figure it out a few seconds before it happens, but that makes the finale even better!!!

@Furry-big_boi The only reason I tapped on this video was that assuming the dog had some sort of sway or influence on the plot. Now after finished watching it, I was deceived. The dog was just eye candy to the audience. Immensely disappointed that the dog was in the movie at all. If the dog wasn’t in the movie, the plot and story line of movie wouldn’t have changed in the slightest. Ugh 😑

Thematically, Rocco is just Bob's humanity. Storywise, Rocco is what ties Bob with Nadia and subsequently to Deeds. Throughout the movie Deeds effectively bullies Nadia and Bob and had it not been for that abuse, Bob likely would have just let himself get killed. He kills Deeds to protect Nadia and Rocco and because he knows very well how people like Deeds are...well that, and Bob himself is a ticking time bomb. In the end, you could have told the same story without Rocco by just having Bob and Nadia find each other and bond. But here, Rocco is what brought Bob and Nadia together.

Nothing. The dog belonged to a woman, who’s boyfriend got upset beat it up and threw it in the trash can. That same boyfriend was living off the fact people in the town considered him a killer when in all actuality, the real killer was….nvm

I would love to suggest you keep the movie’s name in the description of every movie and another thing that i have personally found disturbing is the background music.
