I watch these mock tests every night and the voice-over explanations has been more instructive for me than many of my instructor's teaching during a drive. I think, the prosody in the voice over helps me retain information more! It's definitely the best out of all the channels I have watched. :)

It definitely felt like I did worse than the video made me look. Learnt loads. Motivated me to do more too. Have to thank you for the opportunity it has been a major boost. Still a bit Mícheal Jackson (speed demon) in my practice, but getting better at it and shouting out signs is helping me to remember to look for them more. They changed the speed limit on my home estate, a week after I got back, to a 30kph (20mph approx) zone. So that has actually helped. 😂

Enjoyed watching driving a mock test and I think overall he did well considering he was not familiar with the UK driving speed limits. Here's an interesting fact: The maximum speed limit in Ireland for most EU members for motorways 120 km/h, (85 mph), national roads 100 km/h (62 mph), regional roads 80 km/h (50 mph) and urban areas 50 km/h (30 mph). It's interesting to think the UK government were considering increasing the uk national driving speed limit from 70-90 mph! What's your thought on this ? 😮

He did very well all things considered. Differing speed limits between countries will always make it harder for sure. I’m unsure as to whether they’re considering 90mph I had heard that 80mph could be an option but I don’t think they’ll do it though. I wouldn’t have an issue with the limit being raised to 80👍

That was out of Mill Hill… Barnet will have access to the A1/M1 plus plenty of national speed limit single carriageways.

Hello mate, in currently waiting to do my part 2 test something I’ve noticed in your videos and many others is most PDIs are much older im 28 and although a father and a fully grown man I feel like a baby going into this industry 😂 I just wondered how old were you when you became an ADI?

I was 34 - most are a bit older but there’s quite a few younger ones out there these days too. You only have to check social media. Age doesn’t matter it’s how you drive, what you know and then how you put that across to learners. Go get it done! 😊

Correct me if I'm wrong but I read that Sunglasses are Illegal to actually wear whilst driivng, I might be wrong but I've convinced myself I read this on a BBC news artical recently , picky I know but interested to know your take on this ?

Interesting! I would say without doing research that if your sunglasses impair your vision then yes you could be in trouble… As you need to be able to see clearly. Most sunglasses are perfectly suitable in particular polarised as they help to reduce glare in sunny bright conditions and are actually very suitably in overcast conditions too. Good Question though!!!

How much does the test cost to become a driving instructor?

Ooooh that’s kind of a long answer. You need to pass 3 tests. Plus be trained. You could easily be spending around £2500 more or less depending on where you’re getting trained. The part 2 test itself costs £111
