@mariodriessen97409 ай бұрын
Not so sure. I don’t think you CAN be calm in a situation like this. It probably was fear that saved his life (or made him act really fast). Let’s me rephrase that. If you could ask him how he felt, falling through the air like he did, I wouldn’t be surprised if he answered “I’ve never been more afraid in my whole life as then”, instead of “I felt pretty relaxed, I knew exactly what I was doing”. 🤔
@mariodriessen97409 ай бұрын
@@JBS2018 : Interesting! I would love to see a well made documentary on this subject, based on scientific research and interviews with people that experienced such a thing. It’s a fascinating subject. The closest thing I ever went through, when it comes facing a potential death, was when someone held me at gunpoint (I never heard of the word ‘gunpoint’, so I hope Google Translation got it right). Anyway, someone held a gun at me. I knew the gun was loaded and knew the guy was crazy. And I did feel calm. It did seem like I had an hour to think, while it might have lasted for a couple of minutes until he went away, and I didn’t feel fear. I know this was a very different situation compared to what we saw in this video, but maybe it’s the same mechanism working. I don’t know.

They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God." ~ 2 Corinthians 4:4 "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.” ~ 1 Corinthians 1:18-19 "Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man-and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen." ~ Romans 1:22-25 "For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them." ~ Matthew 13:15 "Whoever listens to you listens to Me; whoever rejects you rejects Me; and whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.” ~ Luke 10:16 "Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins." ~ James 5:19-20 "And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!" ~ Matthew 10:14-15

@@zaphod333 You have a religion of your own, sir. Can’t you just stop saying that to people who can admit to possibility? What do you think a lab scientist is?? One who acts of possibility to the point if fruition. And if you don’t believe in the invisible, well, there goes your cells, the air, your oxygen and and your wifi reception. When you CAN see those, it’s with assistance. It so happens, the lenticular invisibility tool for the military is not that complicated, so is the other side, once you use the right tools, which many have, myself included. If you want proof bad enough, you will get it, because like no one can eat or sleep or exercise for you, this applies to that category. You’ll have to to sacrifice lessor wants fir it, though, and again, no one can proxy that for you, either. In the meantime, please, stop treating others like they can’t know something until you know it first. We are rooting for you whenever to finally decide to figure how to know. Believe doesn’t finish this, that’s the stage before the evidence that hasn’t been nurtured into fruition yet. It’s acting on the seed that reveals something knowable. You are out of the lab. You may not think this is science, but it is more “physics” than the scientific physics you know. True religion is not abuse of power or mere belief. It is a devotion to all truth that is. I agree that there are religions (false ones) that don’t accomplish integrity, but I am a member of one that is, very golden rule, and based on free will, yet not abuse of power. I am writing this for those who might be seeking, whether or not you yourself understand that no one on earth has sufficient knowledge to claim what is not so or what does not exist because no one has traveled the entire universe and come to gain all knowledge in order to do so. But one principle of truth it a time, we can claim a knowledge and understanding of one principle in physics at a time. We don’t have to know everything to know one thing. Where you find that windows of heaven actually do open and I can promise they do because I am a personal recipient of it and I was never more surprised but I will never be able to deny it, it is an experience no one else has a right to judge or reason about-it wasn’t theirs and they can only judge once they’ve had this happened to themselves. That’s why it’s pointless to judge it unless you’ve been in the lab yourself, and I’m not just talking about stopping an experiment early. No one can even make a judgment with any qualification until they’ve reached the point of full fruition of evidence and tested that evidence. But I’ve never seen a mouthier set of people than the ones who have never even experienced that yet act like they know that others can’t know anything unless they themselves have come to know something first. Keep in mind to know something has nothing to do with memorization. It has to be experience like you’ve never experienced before. That’s not really comprehendible to someone who has not experienced that. They need to just admit that they have not experienced it and end it at that. Ultimately it’s the naysayers who looks like the ignorant one when they open their mouth and expressed doubt. That is not scientific. A doubter never even makes it into the lab- they are too busy being cynical. They keep themselves cut off and cut out because of an outside obsession, a distraction, often even an addiction. No one else owes you their testimony when you are shut down so if one comes, you are lucky, not put upon. The most painful thing about hindsight is that it’s late. This isn’t about you and others. It’s not a competition with them. You have to live with yourself and the level of happiness loss or a regret that you have laid out for yourself but you already know that. What you don’t know is that this is the time when we still have free will and we haven’t used it to lose it. Right now we have a grace period where if we numb ourselves with emotional drunkenness, we choose a paralysis. But like pain covered up with cortisol (for some, I was one) during an accident (a 3/4” diameter axel impailed my foot up through the middle)…there’s is 100% numbness, until an hour later when there isn’t. Choosing numbness isn’t a privilege forever. It’s not that pain will be imposed on you by another. It’s that you will have imposed your pain on you. If you want to claim being scientific, then please, for your own sake, at least admit to possibility. Most don’t understand that faith is actually a law of physics, and one that reveals fruition. We may as well admit now that we don’t understand every last little thing in existence so we may as well keep an open mind. I don’t believe in abuse of power being acceptable, but neither does True religion. Abusers of power will use every vehicle they can, the mafia, drug lords, human traffickers, bullies, blackmailers, extortionists, narcissistic, prideful torturers, even among people we say we love, so wouldn’t an evil person also abuse religion, the education system and politics? They do. Our job is to not perpetuate that, but to Treat others the way we were going to be treated ourselves. I think that that would pretty much prevent regrets. Made those who have advanced far FAR ahead of us watch over us. That’s what godhood actually is, and they are our own ancient ancestors. Everyone has to find that out for themselves by themselves. May you have a successful journey finding your own ancient kin. They are a lot older than you think. In fact, you are older than you think. This little bit of earth time is a drop in the bucket in comparison.
