Damn I just watched an entire anime in just 20 minutes, truly built different.

I‘ve read the manga and i have to say i am disappointed that they changed the beginning. It was not the old man greeting him and randomly giving him the necklace. He was a old sickly man that mo fan regularly hung out with and the old man passed the necklace to him before dying since there was no one else.

Thank you so much for this. It's so hard to find proper recaps of this show. So if you can, defenitely make recaps for the remaning seasons.

David Liddell (MC) is a fantastic MC, started as a pauper and then turns out to be super rich and OP .. and he is a quadrillionaire (the world's richest and most powerful) and then turns out to be the richest and most powerful in the entire Milky Way Galaxy and surrounding galaxies ....

Got to respect Mo-Fan a lot here. After everything he’s put up with from being laughed at to a corrupt teacher attempting to foil his test to even those close to him (childhood friends and school faculty) saying that he should quit on the day of the match. He never let his temper get the better of him. If I was in his place, I’d gladly give everyone a good scare and NOT pull my punches on anyone. Wouldn’t care if I’d go too far on those who thought I was a joke.

as a novel reader I have never been more impressed by such a unique world and magic concept the MC is perfect and overall the story is definitely 10/10

0:26 the recap is missing a fact.. 3 months before the start of the series, MoFan received the necklace and had taken a nap, when he woke up, he was transported to a similar world but here, magics and magic beasts exist. This was why he did badly for magic lessons in class as he did not have any prior knowledge, and he had no "stars" Edit: yes I remembered.. stars have nothing to do with studying..

Everyone can learn different elements at certain level and some have some sort of hidden talent. Mo Fan talent is that he can awaken two elements at every benchmark (also mean he have to train twice as hard or spend as much). If I’m not mistaken. Most if not all of his elements are the strongest type and/or of offensive capabilities. He lack a definite defensive abilities but he have a human shield… i mean a best friend that is opposite of him with plenty defensive abilities 😅

The whole anime is kinda straight forward with it's story telling and you can kinda tell what's gonna happen but man was it satisfying at the end. I was just thinking to myself the whole time, "please use both power, pleaseeee."

There's like...three seasons I think at this point. I really really really recommend it. Can't recommend it enough, really. It's a gorgeous anime, which to my knowledge very much improves on the manga.

This is one of my favourite novels, I watched the anime, read the manga and read the novel 3 times which has 3100+ chapters. The story is immersive, everything is so well explained and detailed that when they are commenting about situations you immediately know what that entails and what effects it can have in that world. You can come to a conclusion like you also live in that world, rather than the auther having to explain. It is considered slow starter, and it just gets better as you watch/read so i highly recommend. The only thing i can find faulty in this series is that there is a factor of luck involved often, and whenever it was needed he somehow had it, just lucked out, for getting some items for example, or just lucked out that the beast he killed had one of the stronger types of the soul, or of all the things he could have gotten, he got exactly what he needed. But still, it mostly has a logic that you can follow, and good cause and effect, so it doesn't bother me if he lucks out here and there. And let's be honest, most novels that get manga/anime adaptations end up getting some changes in the story, it doesn't stay the same as original, but this was aparently deemed written good enough to not need any changes for either adaptation. I think his eye colour is a thing that changed. Spoiler He is basically god mode at the end, but he it takes a loooot of time to get there, and he constantly gets recognized along the way for his growth and for constantly breaking his limits. So cool! Sorry for the long post, just love this so much, had to comment. So have fun with this!
