I know nothing about Warhammer and don't play WC3, but I can appreciate the amount of work that must have gone into making this map with SIXTEEN different races, each with their own unique units... well done man, very impressive.

Orks with a K only exist in Warhammer 40K. In Warhammer Fantasy, they're called Orcs, or collectively "Greenskins" for the entire faction.

Funny enough now orcs in warhammer fantasy are called Orcssuck (hehe), orruks. And Orks of warhammer 40k have survived the terrifying fear they had of IPE copyrights etc (sorry don't know the actual term)

@@Anttown123 What do you mean "not official"? You won't find Warhammer 40K products spelling Orks with a C. Only Warhammer Fantasy does that.

@@Josuegurrola Orruks are Age of Sigmar, which is a separate IP from Warhammer Fantasy/Old World and Warhammer 40K. I cannot find any source naming Warhammer Fantasy/Old World orcs "Orcssuck".

Some more info for those less informed about the mod. Not only he has made all these factions but each faction has around 4 specialities ( some even more). One particular case that we just witnessed is how with dogs of war you can choose Tilea/ Kislev / Cathay / Araby. In this case he chose araby hence all the Arabian nights stuff.

Tiberium Wars had that, it basically had 3x3 races which was cool. Would be fun if SC2 did that and we could play Mecha Zerg vs Taldarim or something like that 😆

@@rawwdi I loved it too but it was an EA game which meant it was immediately abandoned after release 😅 I'm actually more sad for RA3. I flipping loved that game. They actually had patches for a while, then the expansion came out and was promptly shut down.

I'd love to see more of these! I felt like DBieneFranz wasn't as prepared as Inspired so the game felt a bit lopsided, but that kind of issue is fixed with more time and experience. Plus I love Grubby casting :)

Hey, I'm DieBieneFranz and i was quite well prepared for the time I had. But with 16 races its not possible to know when exactly the enemy is strong and what every units does. For example he was way stronger t2 when in most matchups so far i won with my unit comb and thought it to be quite strong :D In game 2 he blindly countered my worker push with massive AoE damage sadly hahaha. But you are right, there is a lot to discover and this is a lot fun! The tournament was also so much fun, although I lost hard. I recommend this map for all to discover! We might introduce a league and more tournaments for it btw :))

@@ashes_3030 keep in mind that DieBiene here is just an amateur, and he was thrown in against 3 really renowned players (see their Liquidpedia pages). Inspired was the strongest and he prepared a lot and found some under-nerfed strats :D +To be honest, I realised the Dwarves as a whole are underpowered (e.g. their workers cost 85 gold), so given everything, DieBiene has done really very well!

This is so cool! I understand what most units are capable of even though almost all of my Warhammer knowledge is from other games. Tabletop fans probably feel right at home. The dedication required to make something like this is (sadly) very rare.

Hey, DieBieneFranz here. The map is aswesome and I can really recommend for everyone to try it out. There is so much to test, strategies to be invented, finding synergies and timings etc. And I think that's some of the main points of the enjoyment of a good new rts. The races are very indepth and thought out in an incredibly creative way, and as you can see here I got stomped because he had very good counters (the massive AoE damage vs my worker rush for example that i didnt know of haha :D). I really hope we can have another event and i can have my revenge ;)) Thank you also for Grubby to organize this very fun event!

@@michalvrabec454 grit and perseverance are required first and foremost. What I have done could not have been done much faster, trust me (in fewer years yes, but not in fewer hours). I did make some design and code mistakes in the beginning, but returning to fix them in a few years time didn't take that much time relatively speaking.

Excuse my stupidity, but once you download the map, what do I need to do to actually play de map?? I dont see any folder containing the maps in the warcraft III folders in windows where I should copy the new map (the .w3c file dowloaded)

Normally the maps are stored under documents --> Warcraft III --> Maps. There you can create a new folder so that its easier to find. Does it work this way for you?

wow this is what gaming used to be, some random guy spending his own time to produce an experience for free just to share the creation with others. This takes me back to the 1000's of pages of cs skins available for free all the way through cs source. now if you want to change anything you have to pay...... the greed of the gaming industry has been it's undoing and a shift is approaching.

TO THE MAP MAKER: consider 2 things ->1) in warhammer there is only one lord per army(a lord is equivalent to a hero here) 2) make corpse time longer before decay![warhammer bloody] (Can do this with a simple game rule script in worldbuulder)

Firstly, I never had enough playtesters, let alone recently (senseless to playtest stuff in 2018 if in 2023 I'm gonna overhaul it), let alone among good players (these began trickling in just now, as you may guess). Secondly, the game is actually reasonable well balanced (...no worse than the tabletop Warhammer was for sure, rofl): no strat can get a worse player to win consistently, or anything like that. These "imba mechanics", while deserving of a nerf in hindsight, still only ever make a difference if the players' skill is very similar.

Billion-dollar companies struggle to release a balanced RTS that has just 3 or 4 races. You're expecting a single person to make a perfectly balanced game with 16? In any case, it seems like the player who deserved to win did in fact win -- not sure theoretical balance played a big role

@@Nightmare2077yes i was very suprised when i played this it felt very balanced for such a big mod. The only exception is bretonnia late as stated before but you need to invest ALOT so it would still be rather balanced imo!
