@@myonlinecarguy1 YOUR'E A PRO MY MAN.Any tips or ideas on how i could install a 15" monitor to the back seat area(under the headrest)? My monitor has no mounting bracket or drill holes :/

Thanks man. Without a mount you would have to create your own mount. Thats a rough way to go.

wood,plastic,fiberglass?which way would you go.or could i possibly glue mending braces to the edges and try to drill somehow.....

This is so much better explained thanks a bunch. But I have an encrypted Nissan stereo and I can't access nothing on it since the password is not known. Do you have any ideas how I can get around this.

It would be great to have a picture/video of how folks are doing the wiring under the carpets, or under the center console so that the kids don't kick it around and unplug it

Great video!!! Question…the more monitors I install in my vehicle the weaker the signal become to the last monitor installed. The last monitor video quality is poor compared to the rest. What do you suggest?

I have a hummer H2 2006 with a invision head rest dvd model#SHMD-0701-BX. It work but has developed lines in the screen. Can I just buy a replacement on EBay and swap out units ? I am not opposed to up grading both units any advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, that model is an oem factory unit..if you want a direct swap, you'll have to do it with that same model. Otherwise any other brand/type will require an installer to put it in. As the wiring is much more complex

How can you install them to come on as soon as you turn the car on?? I got mines done in Dallas like that and I still can't figure it out? Any suggestions?

what if the metal is thinner the the headrest holes? how to fix that

Is it going to to easier if my after market head unit has two video outs and two videos in so I would just have to use both video outs right

No. The chances of having 2 V outs, is insane small. I can't say, I've EVER seen it myself. Now, far as video in. That's very very possible and much more common.

I hate to have be the one to create disappointment, but you will not be able to "connect " aftermarket maonitors to and OEM system. It wont work out. Sorry.

Mines connected but I have no idea how it’s done. I wanna take it apart just to see how they done it. I have a 2010 avalanche LTZ with OEM RADIO AND FLIP DOWN MONITOR connected to duel 7 in Power Acoustic headrest monitors. All of them work. I play movies from the OEM head unit to the 3 monitors all the time. I really wanna know how’s this is done. Again…I purchased the vehicle with this already installed.
