You shouldn't take it so seriously. The opening monologue is a play on the superman monologue. Also my hyping George doesn't make him any less humble. He's a super drummer in my books so I wanted to give him a super intro. It's all in good fun.

I knew Nile before they were signed. Nice guys was friends with the old drummer Pete. Saw a few of their club shows back then. Great interview by the way.

Man...just one meal a day?how is it possible to play drums like that on one meal a day,unless that meal consists of like 5 Big Mac's and 6 steaks with butter,with a 1 liter pepsi bottle to wash it down..but i guess when you are George Kollias,anything is possible...:)...cheers for putting up the interview,gives a whole new insight into the life of THE George Kollias....Thanks to the Demonstealer..:)

Very cool! George is one of the friendliest and most down to earth fellows you can ever hope to meet as well as a drum god. Of course he likes him some lamb--he's Greek, what do you expect? Indian food FTW, too--I need to get some, now!

@badetau its easy if you are not on sugar. sugar is a short term fuel that needs replenishing every few hours. if you eat real food it gives you energy for a lot longer.
