Pier Fisherman Catches FREE FISHING TRIP with Tampa Bay Guide!!Pt.2

A Father and Son were enjoying a nice day at the Fort De Soto Beach Pier when they were suddenly told they had an opportunity to go fishing with an experienced charter fishing guide. An instant fishing trip! These two anglers were very excited and took a chance to fish with me ( Captain Joe Raines ) out in Tampa Bay. The first part of the video features us catching tons of nice spanish mackerel at Egmont Key.
In this second part of the video, I take Andres and Lazz to the Southeast Side of Tampa Bay and fish the flats. First we fish an oyster bar and catch a nice snook and a fat speckled trout. Then we move to the mangroves and get a half dozen more snook. It was an outstanding day we'll never forget, topped off with a smooth ride back to the pier.

What you said about the health of the fishery is spot on. You are correct about the Tampa Bay fishery being excellent. I think the biologists @ FWC are doing a fantastic job with the recent extention of the closure to this area.

My Dad has been gone 46 years. He was almost 42 when he passed. But we made enough hunting and fishing memories to last a lifetime. Sure, Mom, and my sister went fishing sometimes. But when it was just 'the guys', those are the ones I cherish most. Take your Dad fishing now! Be as sure as you can that he'll hook into something (one never knows, so just getting out is an experience itself). Good luck!

Nice to see these guys were so freaking cool they are so great. Really like these guys and I subscribe to your channel after watching this my first video well my second I saw when you picked them up. Oh and one more thing get a boarding ladder come on now. Also pull a little closer to the shore for these guys I brought my boat right up on many beaches. I noticed you released the first snook. How many of the fish did you three take back and eat, compared to what you released? Not sure if snook is edible or what size it needs to be to keep, but it looked pretty big.

We kept 11 mackerel and released all the other fish. Snook, redfish, and trout are all closed through next year.
