I’m past 60 yrs old now, haven’t kayaked (sea) for years and starting to forget what it was really like, but each feature described here, like fit and tuning makes me feel my kayak around me again, even sitting on the couch watching this video. Great information well presented. I started out with an 8 foot sundolphin sit on top. Then i upgraded to a tsunami 165 during the pandemic. Never regretted that upgrade.

I just got an old Wilderness Systems Pamlico 145T (T for Tandem) for free. Like 1998 model year old. Its the touring kayak counterpart to the Pungo. Even without deploying the the rudder it still handles exceptionally well in the choppy water. The only thing it doesnt have that i really wish it did is the seats that the Pungo in the video has. Because of its age its got the old style seats. If i get thw chance I'm going to replace at least one of them with the newer seat.

I am 6'4" and 240lbs and was concerned if the length of the 12' Sandpiper was going to be long enough. This helped confirm that it will work. Thanks. Enjoy your videos.

HEADS UP, I LOVE KAYAKS BUT WITH CRIPPLING ARTHRITIS AT AGE 68 TOUGH TO GET IN EM. KAYAK MANUFACTURERS SHOULD MAKE SOME CHANGES TO MAKE IT EASIER TO ENTER AND EXIT FOR SENIORS . I BELIEVE MORE PEOPLE WOULD BUY THEIR KAYAKS. I LIKE CANOES ENTRY EXIT BETTER BUT THEY ARE TIPPY WHEN UNDERWAY AND WAY MORE EXPENSIVE THAN ENTRY LEVEL KAYAKS, REALLY LONG COCKPITS AND SEATS THAT MOVE UP AND DOWN MAYBE 🤔 CANOES ARE WAY EXPENSIVE TIPPY AS HELL MOST OF THEM. MY TWO BITS ANYWAY.

Sea Stream Angler 120. Not a lot of reviews of this kayak. Was set on a vibe 120 but they are all sold out online (for delivery). The sea stream seems reasonable... curious if you’ve had any experience with the brand or the quality of this kayak. Thanks for the vast info provided by your channel!

JACKSON.. Great reviews...thanks man. I saw in your top 10 review that you had the Jackson Bite. Question?? Do you have any experience with the Jackson Riviera? I have had a Dimension Spirit 3.3 for about 20 years now and LOVE it. Great for day trips and getting out and enjoying paddling. Not a fisher, not doing long distance week trips, just getting out and having fun for a day.... and LOVE that I can turn around and lay out on top in the sun for a hour if I want. I have herd that the closest thing to my Dimension Spirit 3.3 is the Jackson Riviera. Is there any info of the Riviera that you can share... I saw it is about double the weight of my Kayak. Possible you would like to do a review of the Riviera and the 5 closest to it and go over what you think of usage and quality of the top 5 of this type category?? Obviously not a white water Kayak, not a fishing, not a touring... so what do you think of these?? Hey I just ordered the Big Fish 120, it is getting here a little bit later because it was out of stock so before buying a paddle I wanted to ask you about some, is the Carlisle angler or angler pro(something like that) good? I REALLY like the Camo pattern especially since I will be duck hunting out of this kayak, also what length should I get? Edit: it is a Carlisle magic angler

so I have a question. I am disabled and have a partial foot amputation, and I am very interested in starting kayaking. I have never tried it before what boat wouldyou guys suggest... I am 511 and 230lbs possibly a little fishing and mainly recreational want to eventually get into whitewater. please not more that $1300and I love technical and gear type stuff I am in Oregon(portland area)and have really no experience in kayaking at all...
