X-TRAIL T31 / BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 LT245/70R16

I tried to enter BF Goodrich 's tire we introduced the other day at normal car height.
The size is LT245 / 70R16 113/110 S LRD RWL.
The wheel is R32 genuine 8J offset 30.
Because of the larger size, it may protrude about 10 mm from the fender.
先日紹介したBF Goodrichのタイヤをノーマルの車高で入るかやってみました。
サイズはLT245/70R16 113/110 S LRD RWLです。
ホイールはR32純正の８Jオフセット30です。
大きめのサイズの為、フェンダーより10mmほどはみ出ているかもしれません。

My tire is 245/70R16, if you do not raise the car height you will rub the inner . If normal car height is 225/65R17 will enter.

My car is 2016 CX-5 and stock size is 225/65/R17. Can i install BFGoodrich KO2 of the same size (225/65/R17)?? Would there be enough space and no touch of the rubber to the walls unlike it is shown in the video? Please let me know. Thanks!

その動画から6年経っているので現在の仕様はだいぶ変わっています。 BFG245/70R16ですと3センチアップではタイヤハウス内に干渉します。私は4インチリフトキットを組んで、30mmアップスプリングに変更して干渉を免れています。 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qcuYgdGG2ZnUo4k.html 動画のリンクは少し前の車両仕様の紹介です。 235でも若干はみ出る気はします。またホイールのオフセットによっても変わってきますね。

If it is an original vehicle height, the limit would be 225/70r16 or 225/65R17. I lifted it 5.5 inches with a 4 inch block and lift spring after a few weeks kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eLl1g7SKtJysops.html

@@image91 It's probably okay because the tire outside diameter is about the same as 225/70r16 and 225/65R17.

T31で履けるギリギリのタイヤサスだと思います。タイヤ外径も結構変わりますので、フェンダーとの隙間も狭くなりますのでバランスがどうなるか分かりません。

All terrain tires are OK for snow, but ice slips. It is necessary to use properly with studless.

Sir how have you managed to control this tyre 245/70/R16 from touching the inner, as am seeing this video when you steer to the left or right tyres are rubbing the inner, how have you managed to change this situation? ? I know you already put 5.5 inches lift up, but still rubbing the inner, how did you manage to control from rubbing especially when you are driving on road ? ? Am so curious to know, let me know

In this video, the vehicle height is not raised, so it interferes with the inner. 245/70r16 can be installed by adding a 4-inch block.

@@HeadwayDrive if you raise the car by putting specer of 1.75 inches can you put 245/70/16? 0r 235/70/16 BF Goodrich?

You can install the 235/70/16 by installing the 1.75 inch spacer. However, raising it to that extent will damage the drive shaft boots. Need to lower the engine

このタイヤの225のサイズあるのでしょうか？あるなら欲しいですね、そして私も同じホイールです車高も純正なのでこう言う動画嬉しいです参考になりました、動画投稿者さんのエクストレイルはショック変わってるように見えますそれでも車高は変わらないのでしょうか？質問ばかりですみません

私の車両はKYB製のショックに替えてありますがスプリングは純正を使っているため車高は変わりません。もちろん偏平率の大きいタイヤにすればその分車高は上がります。 225サイズもございますが、適合リムサイズが【６J−７J】になるので８Jのホイールに履かせるとかなり引っ張りタイヤになってしまうかと思います。私が履かせている245/70R16も【６.５J−７.５J】なので若干引っ張り気味です。説明欄にBF Goodrichのサイトのリンクを貼り付けてありますのでご覧ください。

ノーマル車高でしたら225/70r16なら大丈夫です。外径は722mm 225/75r16は外径が744mmなので全切りすると当たると思います。因みに私のサイズ245/70r16は外径が750mmです。

Basically, when the tire leans to the right or left, the outside of the tire approaches the fender runner. If you put bigger tires on it, it will get even closer. To prevent this from happening, it is necessary to lift the vehicle. I've lifted the vehicle since then so the tires don't touch.

225 / 70r16 kann installiert werden, wenn die Fahrzeughöhe normal ist, und 235 / 70r16 kann installiert werden, wenn der Aufzug etwa 1 Zoll beträgt. Mein X-Trail hat einen 4-Zoll-Block, also trage ich 245. Bitte sehen Sie andere Videos.

hey man... I just installed yokahama AT GO15 225/65r17.. they look/handle great and no rubbing! they are a heavier tire though so a tiny bit slower on takeoff. PM me for a pic ;)

How much can i lift my xtrail t31 to do not damage boots. 45mm (1,5 inch) with pedders is ok? can i put then 235/70/16 and spacers to the wheels? and how much is safe to lifted? thank you

The limit for lifting a t31 vehicle with only springs is 30mm to 40mm is. Beyond that, it will put a strain on your boots, so you should stop. 235 / 70r16 is ok, but it depends on the wheel offset number

When putting BF Goodrich on this vehicle at the front, did you modify the madgurds to avoid rubbing the inner? As am looking at my T31 front underneath the mudgurds are rubbing with the tyre as I just tried to put that tyre, did you reshape the front mudguards?

The genuine product is hard, so I removed it. The mudguard should bend somewhat flexibly. Later, it was made in the same shape as a genuine product using a rubber material.

@@HeadwayDrive this now concludes that unless you reshape the inner mudguards the tyre will be rubbing the inner regardless of 4inch lift up, this now is very nice information for me looking towards modification of the front madgurds to let the tyre move without rubbing. What about at the back was your tyre rubbing also the inner and did you make any modification as well to avoid rubbing?

Since the wheel arch is wide on the rear tire side, the size of the mudguard etc. can be freely decided. I made it using the same rubber material as the front. If it is too long, it will come into contact with the wheel block etc. when parking, so make sure it is not too long.

Hello, I have a xtrail t30 and the standard size of my tyres are 215/55 R16. I was thinking of upgrading my tyres to 225/70 R16. Will it fit on my car or do I need to stay on the standard size.

The outer diameter of 215/55R16 is 642mm and 225/70R16 is 721mm, so it is 40mm larger from the center of the tire. Therefore, it cannot be installed without lifting it up by 40mm. Even so, there is a possibility that it may interfere with the inner part.

It's too wide. It can be installed by reducing the offset value so that it does not interfere with the suspension, but it will protrude significantly from the vehicle body.

Der Inhalt des Videos testet, ob 245 / 70r16-Reifen in normaler Höhe montiert werden können. Der Reifen trifft auf das Reifenhaus, wenn Sie das Lenkrad drehen, weil der Reifen groß ist. Derzeit heben wir 5,5 Zoll.

Use the Nissan Skyline r32 wheel. This wheel has offset 30, 8J. If you want to wear 225 you need to use the 6-7 J wheel

225/70R16を純正車高で履いている方がいます。 1.5インチ上げれば235も入るかと思いますが、全切りできるかは確証がありません。みんカラ等で検索してみてください。情報があるかもしれません。

It is a tire purchased on the premise of 4 inches lift up. Currently, the use of vehicles has changed significantly. The 245/70r16 cannot be installed even if the height is increased by 1.5 inches, it will contact the inner. 225/65r17 or 225/70r16 is good.
