I’ve posted another update on how great these arbs are doing, although the environment around them has changed quite a bit. Cheers!

Thanks for posting the update. My arborvitae is doing the same thing. I had to replace 2 already. Hope the browning from the inside is gonna recover

I hope so too. I wold suggest visiting the HB-1 website for additional insight on their great product along with taking your time to trim each individual brown stem/branch you can find.

Hi, can you tell me the water to hb 101 ratio you use? Did you spray on the actual trees or just the soil?
@jeffstites78483 жыл бұрын
Cameron Long My partner made the mix in a spray bottle as per the recommended ratio from HB-101. I’ll find out from her what that ratio is and we’ll add another video soon on how we apply it, which is on the branches themselves, not the roots.

I got a question. So my arborvitae’s are about 5’ tall. With the hb101, how much of a gallon should I spray on my trees?

It doesn’t take a lot, really. You essentially want to spray with a hand spray bottle and lightly mist the branches. Then use your hand to help distribute it on the branches while checking for brown branches and removing and debris on each bush/tree (using gloves if you prefer). So, a standard, genetic trigger sprayer, I’d say 7-10 pumps per bush.

Any update now Jeff? Has that arb gotten any better? Thanks!

It is doing better and much healthier. Slowly filling in on the bottom and growing in height. Will do another follow up video soon to show how it’s doing.

Should I cut all the brown down to the syem
@jeffstites78483 жыл бұрын
Yes. As you go to cut the brown out, look for little nodes on that branch. You’ll want to cut just to the outside of that node (little bumps that will be a new leaf/branch) and cut just after that node if working from the trunk out. Otherwise cut brown and dry branches to the trunk as you go. Feel free to also consult a local garden specialist or landscape company, if needed to get as much info as you can. Hope that helps.

How are the arborvitae’s this year.
@jeffstites78482 жыл бұрын
They are doing good although some of the others in this row had damage from our extreme heat last year in the Pacific NW. will get a video soon as we start up our sprinklers and HB-101 process again.
