I don’t know how healthy is this obsession with “clean” food. Getting headaches and so on from a spray of oil or packaged tortilla...it’s all in the mind and the body just shows a reaction to a program installed in the mind about “dirty”, “unhealthy” food....

I have been making your smoothie recipes and they are a huge hit at my house with hubby and my 4 kids. I went out and bought everything I need for rainbow sushi rolls and I already made your hummus recipe and it is so delicious! Also, I made some chia gel so I can make the strawberry sauce and put it on banana ice cream. I am loving this series so much and had been waiting excitedly for this video.

I ate clean whole plant based vegan food for 3 years, dissecting ingredients, and I started allowing exceptions for a small amt of dairy and chicken bc it was just too difficult to sustain for me and my body handled it just fine. Your body's extreme reactions to such small amounts of whatever you consider not healing seems strange and well, extreme. Yes we all have different sensitivities but gosh give our body some credit , it shouldnt start going bezerk after a miniscule amount of something unless you are allergic to everything. Which is unlikely.

lunabelle Agreed and well said. I’d say if there’s an underlying medical condition then maybe. But even I (who has ibs and thus some intolerances) can eat more than a spray or teaspoon of something. Like you said, our bodies are pretty resilient. It’s not gonna freak out over something that small

Ya, but it's great to make inroads. Very easy to get 3 vegie options...maybe romaine, mixed greens, shredded carrots. Add them to every meal. Other options: avocados, berries, melon, spinach, olives, celery. I LOVE the wraps...I usually use cabbage leaf or romaine for that.

I’ve noticed that you don’t reply to comments, so I don’t know if you’re gonna read this. But you should look into the underlying causes of your reactions to foods instead of the food themselves. Yes, food sensitivities can be present but a lot of the times food sensitivities are do to poor gut health. You should consider seeing a naturopathic doctor that will order an organic acids test along with a GI panel to look for imbalances of bacteria, yeast overgrowth, parasites, etc. And you’ll also want to heal and seal the gut after doing a protocol. If you want more info, I’d highly suggest listening to The Cabral Concept podcast hosted by Dr. Stephen Cabral. There are a TON of episodes and he is so knowledgeable. He healed himself and most of his patients deal with digestive issues as well. Eating a healthy diet is great, but there’s no need to avoid certain foods forever. You said you have a problem with nightshade vegetables and that could be fixed by healing the gut. And perhaps you have a problem with histamines because you can’t have certain spices. There are always underlying causes, so testing is very beneficial!

The mucus and stuffy nose thing happens to my mom too. It usually happens when she eats a meal higher in oily fats, like you said you could feel the oil after you ate your tacos. My mom always has to clear her throat a bunch and then she sneezes, like A LOT. Apparently it’s a weird symptom of an acid reflux reaction, which makes no sense to me, but is apparently what she was told by a doctor! Maybe that’s what you were feeling?

Docs said I had asthma years ago. Moved away from the smoke-filled home and then I discovered a friend eliminating food to better the body. Well I ate very clean for about two years and seven months. I lost 125 lbs. But I agree with some of the things Kristine is saying. I remember one of the times I went off the clean eating for a snack or something, and everything was too salty that I ate. I could taste baking soda very strongly in a homemade biscuit that I ate especially the baking powder. Also when I cheated with a salad that I used just a tiny bit of oil and it tasted like pure oil. So I know thats true. But I also was drinking a beautifully green made smoothie every morning. And that one smoothie I think to this day still keeps me going. But I do not think I would want a continual diet of high raw. I go back to eating as close to vegan as I can but I eat lots of seafood. Kristine I think you were eating so healthy as long as I have been watching your videos, so as far as diet, I would think your health is pretty good. But I am not a Dr. And genetics do play a very big role in your health. So good luck to you.

I’ve been a long time subscriber but some of the info you’re giving seems a bit stretched. Feeling sick right after eating from spray? It doesn’t sound plausible. It’d be such a small amount. You eat a lot of fruit, which even though it’s fructose it’s not unlimited. Eating so much carbs and sugar regardless what it is isn’t good for you. Are you checking with a dietician at all to be sure your health is ok? I’m not here to criticize but the info you’re giving seems stretched. And promoting this diet without checking with a doctor isn’t always a good thing either. I love your videos but this diet seems highly restrictive and seems like it could cause you future problems. Also just an FYI your high fiber intake can cause bloating and digestive issues. Wasn’t sure if you knew or not

Ashley NL high carb (natural sugars from fruits) are ideal as long as (natural) fat is massively reduced to around 10%
@rondalucy
@rondalucy 5 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely correct. All that fruit, no matter that it's natural, will trigger insulin and that's going to wreak havoc. And btw, low fat is not the way to go. Higher healthy fats are. The science behind the dangers of high carb consumption is plentiful. A bowl of cherries, two bananas, etc. all I see is a bunch of carbs. That's all I could think of. Hope people do their research before guzzling all these carb laden fruits. Looks yummy though, and at least I can say this may be better for some who are literally eating garbage at the moment, but nonetheless the insulin resistance will get you in the end. Gosh I got to the end and saw 73% of her caloric consumption was carbs. Good lord!! People, please understand that this is really not a good thing. I hate to appear disrespectful but this sort of information can be outright dangerous. Don't take my word for it. Research it. Dr. Eric Westman and many others have tons of scientific data on this subject. The stuff she makes looks delicious but you really need to ditch the carbs (yes, the excessive fruit, especially bananas) or you're going to be on the fast track to insulin resistance, diabetes, and all the horrible side effects like inflammation, that come with that.

Ashley NL I was speaking to the type she’s doing. You can not go high carb if you have higher fat. Good fats are great and necessary , and with what she’s doing she has the right amount. You can find the science for anything depending on your agenda. There’s also science to back this up. Also I’m not going by what I randomly read or watched for spent years on this studying it in and out of college. Fat covering your cells prevent sugar from going in , thereby leaving high blood sugar. Low fat allows sugar to enter. We run off carbs. Her sensitivity is due to medication damaging her digestive system or something in her body, so she tries to find triggers and heal herself. Tons of people successfully do this and there are medical doctors around the world that do support this lifestyle if done correctly

I having digestion issues. She is right plants contains living enzyme. Processed food , which is all packaged foods and fast foods are enzymes deficient. When issue come up with your food I believe the body Is trying to adapt to toxicity and deficiency. I find myself having to grab more fruit and veggies. I am drinking the smoothies adding avocado and coconut get my fat . Brain needs fat . I am concerned about the sugar in fruit . I believe there is a daily allowance for that . A headache and mucus is a small allergic reaction , it not because u stop eating it , it was probably slight reaction before that u didn’t catch it . Need get an allergy test for food and environment, that’s way u can eliminate the allergies and heal . Any reaction from the body means it not working right . Our body was designed to fix itself . Diseases are just toxicity and deficiency. Rest and digest , if u under stress your body cut the blood supply to the gut , your body in fight or flight state. Over time cause issue with the gut . I would like to have more food info on why drinking that delicious green smoothie does to the body . Make a big salad , with no dressing . Make healthy dressing . I love that .

Hollies Hobbies It’s the extremes. 70-80% of carbs isn’t healthy. 200-300g of sugar isn’t healthy. Yes fruit, nuts and veg are healthy but not in the excess she’s consuming. The veg is probably ok but not the fruit. I get the intolerances. But many people have intolerances and work around it. I have intolerances to foods but still do just fine. It’s the amount of carbs being consumed that is detrimental

I am surprised you ate corn and soy. I have been doing the ph balance plan for about 3 years and both of those foods are acid producing. You might want to read up on ph balance because it seems many of our ills are our bodies trying to combat too much acidity. I went through quite a detoxing process which was amazing to me. Even the callouses on my feet went away as well as sinus congestion, plus I lost weight without trying to. I need to eat more raw foods so I am trying your smoothies. Some are good and some are bitter. I must practice with which greens I put in. Thank you for your effort. Can you ask your program to calculate the ph balance of your day? theresa jurrus The issue I have is she’s not a nutritionist. She’s giving incorrect information. I’m not a nutritionist either admittedly, but I will be in my last year of a bio degree. Her way of eating isn’t healthy, too much carbs and sugars

When Michael made His soy curls he made them in the same pan as your tortilla and he added salt and spices to his so maybe some flew off the curls and onto your tortilla ..

crystalhaiku That small amount wouldn’t cause problems unless it was an anaphylaxis allergy. Even I, who have food intolerances, can eat small amounts of the foods and cook in the same pans

Oh my goodness this is so repetitive. Fruit and veggies every day. She never changes it up. Always wearing white never changing it up. She’s like those make up and nail polish you tubers that millions love. But then again does anyone ever have trouble with them doing make up day in and day out. No

Hector BROWN she said she has always had skin problems... sensitivities, breaks out easily... she also said she felt she was hardly eating any fresh raw fruits and veg and wants to avoid the fate of most who end up with atherosclerosis, insulin resistance/diabetes and stroke and such... frankly, I think she is on the right track... I’ve been following an md who was the head of the heart attack prevention program at Johns Hopkins and he followed all the recommendations they’d been giving for decades... he still ended up with atherosclerosis and insulin resistance and is on statins... he may not end up with a stroke or heart attack and has made some changes, but I am of the opinion that his (the mainstream) recommendations for avoiding these problems, may help minimize them, but I think a whole plant foods mostly raw based diet, as Christine is attempting, is the best approach to avoid these risks... it is the most optimal approach

OfftoShambala thank you for your explanation , I don't know where to start I have already said elsewhere that I have been following Christine for years and that I feel that since she left her island , it's as though ( to me ) she has lost her sparkle , no real smiles , while talking about her "clean food " she looks so stiff not relaxed , I live in a small village in France I have a garden grow veg and fruit organic and I eat more veg than meat have done for years , so maybe I am eating clean food myself , why is she buying Cherry' s and apricots they are not in season at the same time , and why is so much of her food wrapped in plastic , clean food I don't really think so . I wish her well but after the 10 day I stopped following her as I don't understand her life anymore , Offto Sorry Sorry to have babbled on , mon ami I will say goodnight to you

I’m so surprised you’re consuming soy. I don’t think soy is a healthy food. Everything else looks amazing. Blessings 🙏🏻

Agree about soy but don't consume it anymore due to GMOs and glysophate, I don't trust organic. Watch the movie 'secret ingredients' by Jeffrey smith.

Your diet isn’t that clean 😅 you eat a whole lot of process things 😂 even your “fresh fruit” is really process even if the package doesn’t said so, try buying the real fruit and freeze it yourself, in the long run it’s cheaper and cleaner. Hope you get better of whatever is bothering you. 🤗
