Hopefully a helpful video on how to install the HealTech gear indicator for a 2015 R6. I did check afterward and it is working. Some things I recommend that are not in the instructions. Overall, this took about 3 hours.
- remove gas tank
- follow line from crankshaft position sensor to make sure you have the correct wire
- separate that bundle pair from the main wiring harness
- check power connection with ignition on to make sure you have power. I stripped a small portion of the red HealTech wire and probed the various connections on the rear brake light. I suppose I could have used the multi-meter also.
- the orange wire connectors supplied by HealTech need the metal cutter to have a fair amount of insertion to make the electrical connection. However, you dont want to insert it all the way incase you are tapping into the wrong wire (ask me how I know)
