Weather and climate-related events can cause significant mortality and disability.
Sudden cold, heat, storms and floods all present risks to health, especially to the most vulnerable. Even in countries with temperate climates like the UK, weather-related deaths can be in the thousands, for example cold snaps causing cardiovascular deaths. In countries with more extreme weather this can be much greater. Some can cause major social disruption.
This lecture considers how weather events cause harm to health, and our countermeasures.

Weather and climate-related risk factors are very important for nations and their societies. Had the temperature of certain Middle Eastern or Sub-saharan African Economies been on the pleasant side, today, it would be a lot easier to develop these economies beyond fossil fuels. So, temperatures and ecological disasters affect both sustainability-related climate risks and economic resilience and do not just create medical hazards.

How can we ensure that everyone, especially in colder regions, has access to adequate heating and insulation to prevent cold-related illnesses? Could you do more videos on RWA altcoins? Do you know any that have not launched yet

We'll never be able to see beyond the observable universe because, by definition, "beyond the observable universe" is ... well ... beyond the observable universe.
