But nowadays, restaurant work is no longer viable since the price of things went up but the rate of pay stayed the same. I quit working in the restaurant industry almost a decade ago after getting my CDL.

I got blamed for not washing my hands and being sick for a week.... dumb customers don’t realize waiters don’t touch your food 99% of the time, we bring the food to you with minimal at least of direct contact with your food, and in this particular place, I didn’t touched their food , if I did it was merely seconds , the one cook who was working that day was one who touches his face and scratches his ass (obviously not his bare ass just over the clothes )I remember cause we were slow and he was the only cook there. Please, if you’re a cook that doesn’t practice safe sanitation and cleanliness, don’t cook.
