Homemade dog food for my doodles
I only use a little bit of approved kibble. The rest is cooked: 93 percent lean ground turkey, brown rice, carrots, eggs from my quail (shell included), avocado oil, a veggie like broccoli, spinach or kale, and strawberries. Go very light on the fruit and veggie. The majority should be protein. My dogs seem to do better when I sub sweet potatoes for the rice.
