Healthy Fast Food Menu Choices That Are WORTH Trying in 2024

Here are my favorite "healthy" fast food menu items! The entire world is on a "health kick" and even though I always love to indulge at my favorite fast food spots, I wanted to explore some of the healthier fast food menu items because I NEVER do that....like ever. When I go to my favorite drive thru I am looking for a treat and not a salad, but there are some fast food menu items that are NOT salads but that also don't have as many calories, sugars or fats as some of the other menu items BUT ARE THEY DELICIOUS!?! So, if you all like this series, I will keep exploring the best of the best healthy fast food menu items to see if I can put together a list of my absolute favorites BUT until then, do let me know if you have a menu item that feels "healthy" to you that you like to order. Also, since we're in a new year feel free to chime in on the types of videos you'd want to see me tackle this year. I am itching to do a few new series that are still food adjacent (hint hint ranking all the grocery store ranches) but I am curious to know what YOU want to see. Oh also video idea: try kids menu items from a bunch of different places. I know it sounds a bit nuts, but ordering off the kids menu is a good way to enjoy fast food with less calories.

If you are a fan of chili I strongly recommend you buy it at Wendy's and use it as a topping for your baked potato. Great way to add a little extra protein.

The grilled chicken sandwich is my "go to" item at CFA! 😂 But I customize it: regular bun, spicy cheese, extra lettuce, & honey roasted BBQ sauce. Not sure that it's "healthy," but it's delicious! 🤌🤌

Hi! This is the sweetest comment! These videos are usually my "treats" for the week so no, I don't feel like they harm me at all. I usually never eat fast food these days unless I am shooting something or just get a craving every now and then. I'm most often eating pretty healthy around here!

My first fast food, adult menu item. I was 8 mind you, was Wendy's. Yellow Wendy's in the mall. I was so proud of myself 😂 I'll never forget it. My big sister bought it for me and I was skeptical but she was right, as big sisters usually are. Man. You just brought back a hidden memory for me. Thank you.

If you have one near you I love getting food at Roy Rogers. My go to is dine in so I have access to their abundant fixin bar the 3 pack roast beef sliders add lettuce, tomato, and pickles a drizzle of their bbq sauce, fries, baked beans and a drink. If I'm feeling extra I order a side of their gravy to make it like an au jus or to dunk my fries in. I love that they keep the fixins separate that way they don't get wilted or compromise the integrity of your sandwich.

I'm pretty sure the bowl you got wasn't vegan if there was chicken in it 😂 I'm surprised you actually didn't get grilled nuggets at Chick-fil-A. If you forget you're there, they're very nice bites of chicken! "Heathy" is such a hard term to navigate. I'm working on incorporating some diet changes for health reasons and most of what you tried here couldn't fit into my doc's instructions 😀

Eein i hope you know i pray for you often and think about you tons as i struggle to grow my family, i know i dont have to say it as some have been told they cannot conceive, as i have been told that after having a extremely high risk pregnancy and almost dying in labor, they told me to not conceive again. Spoiler i did and almost paid the price earlier and earlier on in pregnancy. All that to say, i love you and I'm praying for peace in your life and for your future and your family, whether it grows or stays the two of you!

That chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A looked really good. If u take it home put mustard on it -it doesn’t have a lot of calories (been on way 2 many diets) u could also get your fav sauce and dip it. I’d pick that over some of that other stuff in a heartbeat

I do love it so much! I went a tad shorter in the beginning than I originally wanted to but the length it is right now is a lot of fun! I had long hair all my life and I didn't realize how much fun the shorter option would be. It is something you have to be really excited about because the change is for sure drastic!

Hi, Erin! I had a video suggestion - best food for those who observe Lent. During Lent, practicing Catholics don't eat meat on Ash Wednesday (which this year is Feb. 14th) and all Fridays. Yes it does have a little bit of a peppery bite to it. A mix of olive oil and your favorite vinegar is it good dressing. Also sprinkling a little bit of salt to taste.

I support what Mary is saying!!! I love it with olive oil and a really nice balsamic vinegar. A cheap vinegar can kind of ruin it in my opinion but I am a RECENT convert to arugula. I use to dog it hard on this channel but now my taste buds have changed!@@marykoufalis7666

When I had my stroke, I cut out all red meat. Impossible burgers and Beyond burgers where go to. I brought home Impossible whoppers for the family, and our daughter had no idea it was plant base. Plant fat is better than animal fat.

Just because something is vegan or vegetarian doesn’t make it healthy… i have the luxury of eating at home or packing food mist of the time… but I realize but everyone does… most place have at least a few healthy options or ways you can customize your order to be healthier… simply swapping mustard for mayonnaise, light dressing for regular… Wendy’s chili is really quite good…

I went to Taco Bell for the first time ever this summer. I didn't like their food. It was bland and I can get much better food from other restaurants. And I really don't get why people like the cinnamon twists. I'll take a cinnamon bun over those every day.

Well, to be fair I would also take a cinnamon bun over a cinnamon twist but for me sometimes I want a little bit of sweet with something light and crispy and that just tickles that itch for me. I also used to go get them with my mom who I lost last year, so there's a lot of comfort in them for me too
