When I was a child, our meals were smaller. Our dinner plates were half the size of the plates we use now. We didn't have multi packets of crisps. We only ate at meal times. There were no fast food restaurants. Sweets were a real treat, not every day. There was no obesity in schools. We played out from morning till evening. We had very healthy lives!

When we grew up, there were breakfast, lunch, and supper. Never were snacks . God crate nice people, slim. When was 50, 60 years ago deference. In the classroom, kids were looking slim, tall, and small. Just one girl was lt bigger. One from 30 kids.

I’ve lost 100+lbs in the last year or so with intermittent fasting, ( my eating window is breakfast and lunch only, no eating after 3 pm), and cutting out all flour, sugar, pasta, rice, cornmeal, and most processed foods. My A1C is currently 4.6! I completely believe in this way of life! I’m 52 and feel healthier than I have in years!!

Fasting with a pinch of Celtic sea salt in my water for 21 days had me feeling better than ever. I specifically follow Dr Sebi but Dr Barbra is definitely my second favorite person with good info.

It has worked for me about the last 25 years. I am now going on 66 years old and literally eat ONE small meal per day., This is what fascinates me. My two kids still at home and my wife together probably eats daily what I consume in a week. Yet it seems they all are lethargic and low on energy. Also the family picks up the standard bugs and colds and flu on a regular basis. Yet it seems to skip me every time.

@@jesusislord3321 Yes, only because the Hebrews at that time were slaves in Egypt and got accustomed to eating their foods. It was never God’s design to eat meat, and wants his people to get back to eating as he designed us to eat. Plant based.

Before man sinned in the Garden of Eden, they are fruits and vegetables. Once man sinned, he was allowed to eat meat. Their bodies were affected because of the sin! Eating meat is not a sin, God did allow it. The problems we have today is man has interfered greatly with how God created things. The meat we eat today is not healthy because of what they feed the animals, how they treat them as well. God told us to eat all seed bearing plants. Seedless grapes and watermelons are not of God. Such fruits or vegetables have been altered and not a healthy choice! We should not eat fruits/vegetables that are from mingled seeds. Man himself creates new fruits/vegetables!! They mixed a grapefruit and a orange! I don’t want to eat that!

@divakim206 no feast, large salad. Spinach, sautéed red onions, avocado, boiled egg, pumpkin seeds. Started fast at 12pm to 3pm the next day.

I had fibroids and had a stroke due to continued blood loss. I was told i was at tisk for a massive heart attack without routine transfusions, which I did not choose. A few years later, i was so weak, one day i just knew my heart was failing. I couldn't walk 10 steps without collapsing into a chair and needing 20+ minutes to recover. I prayed. "Should I go to the hospital?" The Holy Spirit gave me a prescription. "Three days of strict bedrest". I ate very little, but slept alot. Only moved to go to the restroom and open the door for the dogs. By the second day, i felt like i would, indeed, live. By the third i felt like a whole new woman. My body 8:06 had reset. I never had that heart problem again. I'm in menopause now (thank God) but i wonder if I'd been more intentional about fasting consistently, if my fibroid tumors would have cleared. Now i fast routinely, for various reasons. Usually intermittent. The more I do it, the easier it becomes. Also, the better i hear God. I believe the time is coming when food will be in short supply, we will have to grow what we'll eat, so we need to break the dependency on processed food and people controlling our food supply.

I did a 7 day fast for the first time a few months ago and it was amazing! Days 2-3 were the hardest but after that, it was easy. Brain fog was lifted and I shed a few pounds around my mid section

Eating as late as 7 pm or 8 pm is problematic. If you go to sleep about 9 or 10 pm as most people do then depending on what or how much you eat at 7 or 8pm, you are likely still digesting when you go to bed. You need to be completely done with digesting when you go to sleep for a healthy rest. Personally I stop eating at 5 pm and start the mill back up no sooner than 10 am. That has worked wonders for me physically and mentally at 83. I also fast 5 days a week and occasionally for 24 hours (about once a month or once every 2 months).

I just don't understand why people don't understand that you don't eat unless you body tells you so. Just fast for 2 weeks or 3 weeks. You can have a little water so you don't dehydrate. But, you need to speak to your doctor if you have a health issue that requires treatment daily. Once you fast your stomach will be smaller and you require less food to feel full. Cut out your snacks, then cut out 1 meal from your 3 meals a day routine. If you are having more then 3 meals a day. Cut those meals out. I have gone 3 weeks with just water and lemon. After you fast and you have your 1st meal make it a small one and pay attention to your bodys response. You will not need more food, you will not need snacks. My routine for years, from preteen was 1 meal a day im 65 years old now. Do i do it to lose weight? No, I did it because everyone was eating because everyone was eating and it maded me physically ill. So i started eating when my body told me to eat. It becomes easy just don't think about food. When you do eat, make it something you enjoy with good protein and a piece of fruit instead of cookies or cake. Try it and see if your body feels better.

Obesity is created in USA by the food processing with chemicals that makes people addicted to all like soda Pepsi ,Coca-Cola ,Mc Donald all fast food and injected meat with hormones,antibiotics chemicals to keep them rose color on the shelf,the bread is supposed to be made from flour,water,and salt,that’s it and even the healthy bread will made people fat ,so the moderation is the key.But moderation doesn’t work when the addiction of sugar it’s in everything ,39 g of sugar in a can of Coca-Cola ,and if you switch for diet the chemicals in it is very unhealthy,check it out …..so same with fruits and pesticide on them ….nothing is healthy,because the profits in companies who sell this processed food are great in their pockets,and everyone consumes them

In Europe they are better,many grocery’s markets are like Whole Foods or Trader’s Joe ,quality over quantity,and they are expensive,for people who can afford but there are many and the ingredients are minimal,less chemicals because the company’s are inspected by uncorupt inspectors

The Muslim fast is different from other fasts. You reverse your eating time for the 30 days of Ramadan. So from sun up to sun down you do not eat, most do not even swallow their saliva. This is not healthy. We need water with healthy celtic salt during the day/ days we do not eat at all. So a 40 day fast like Jesus did had zero food during that time. It’s best to start with 1 meal fast and work up.

I heard with my 2 big ears, a dietician telling diabetics that they should eat every 3 to 4 hours and should NOT go more than 6 hours without a meal

Sadly these dietitians seem to be doing a job learned from some book written by some uneducated writer. Even doctors are unsure of what they are doing, have you ever been prescribed medication and told “if it doesn’t work, I will prescribe you something else”? Medicine is just a game and a cash cow for pharmaceuticals.

Last year when I was unemployed, I would eat my main meal around 1pm and not much more. I was 115 pounds (a healthy weight for me). Then, I got a full time job working from 8-6 with no lunch break. By the time I get home and get something to eat, it’s 8 pm! I’ve put on 30 pounds in the past 6 months!!! I need to change something. 😮

You may have to take your 10 min break eating a larger meals. This is technically illegal to treat employees like this. Very common in Healthcare, look up your state laws regarding breaks most are not following. Then contact your Attorney General we shouldn't get sick while keeping our careers.

that's right and people seriously lack will power and discipline. Fat is stored calories/energy. Many people have enough stored energy for weeks, or some people, months. Plus eating all the time is bad for your gut health. Fasting will also restore your immune system.

It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism that I locked down what I put in my mouth. Because of the hypothyroidism issues in less than 3-months I gained 60-lbs, it was a true nightmare. I went from size 4 to a size 16-I mean when I say shocking it was horrible. Luckily I found a holistic doctor that diagnosed me, drastically changed my diet, of course proper medications (natural supplement which is again expensive but worth it) and slowly lost that weight. I now eat once a day, never any particular time, it’s when my stomach is growling, then I eat and it’s typically red meat, sometimes I add a baked potato. I only drink water, either with mint/lime or basil/lime. I often fast drinking only the flavored water mentioned above. I never eat past 7 P, rarely do I eat breakfast, only maybe once a week and it’s scrambled eggs, beef sausage and roasted potatoes and then of course that’s my one meal a day. Typically I have two snacks a day, it could be cucumber slices, fresh coconut, baby carrots, green pepper slices, or nuts (not peanuts). When I want a dessert it’s dark chocolate only, I like the Lindt Dark chocolate bar with macadamia nuts, they are very expensive but it’s better than say a snicker bar. I’m back down to my natural weight and doing fine. In the grocery store, rarely do I go into the aisles, it’s outside shopping, i.e., meats & vegetable section. Sometimes I will eat fast food, but that’s a treat, I’ll get a Chick-fil-a or a Jimmy John’s, then next day I will fast. I won’t say getting healthy again was easy, it wasn’t. It was hard, I had to give up pasta, pizza, etc., but now if I try to eat those foods I find them inedible. Good luck with everyone’s journey.

I don't know. I always question things they didn't do a hundred years ago. Most Christians thought of fasting as something the Jewish folks did. No one in the south ever heard of this until it came onto the dieting scene then all a sudden it's a Christian thing. Maybe so ... just food for thought.

A few years ago I was suffering with bad gallbladder pain and digestive problems. My doctor recommended gallbladder removal. Thank God I didn’t have gallstones. I opt to change my diet. Because my food took so long to digest it basically was sitting in my stomach fermenting causing all kinds of digestive issues which made me nauseous and unable to eat. The only time I was able to eat was after my stomach was empty and only in small amounts. I started noticing that the longer I waited to eat the better I felt and no more bloating , stomach pain and feeling nauseous. Soon I began losing weight. Before intermittent fasting hit mainstream, I had already been fasting for a few years. I’m blessed to say I still have my gallbladder. Fasting heals the mind and body. It worked for me.

Muslim have one month in each year to fast in addition some people fast two days in a week and some do three days in each month, this helps bodies to get rid of toxicity and for women less aging and you feel good, myself I do all this type of fasting.

Thats bc they understood that once he returned to the father, in order to access the heavenly kingdom and instructions from God on what to do they had to walk in the spirit. They understood that they made new creatures and reborn as spiritual beings with the gift of the holy spirit. That means dead to the old world and the things of it and dead to their old selves. Why would they worry about feeding a dead body in a dead world. Eating keeps us in this world and away from the spiritual realm of God as it is for the physical flesh and done is this physical realm not the spiritual realms. People need to seek God for understanding and knowledge about how we are to relearn everything to learn all information again bc it applies to our old world and self not the heavenly kingdom and our immortal selves.

I personally saw very few obese people growing up in the 50s. What is making me be overweight and obese is when genetically altered food came into use in America. Europe banned gmo foods very quickly. Also the use of high fructose corn syrup as an alternative to sugar caused this inflammatory weight gain. People used to use a lot of sugar in recipes, check it out, not a good thing, but not as damaging as the high fructose corn syrup in sweetness. This is why fasting l9ses weight sometimes, but limiting foods but still eating foods with these ingredients in them hardly ever works.

Heck....I try everything to gain weight, and still can't. But I also don't eat sweets, use sugar, eat fast foods, processed foods. It's all fish, lean meats, lots of fresh veggies, fruits, juicing. I don't touch anything unhealthy.

Eastern Orthodox Christians fast for 262 days of the year which includes all the various feast days including, Wednesdays and Fridays. God knew what he was doing because the body needs a cleansing from time to time.

People need to understand that America is in love with SUGAR AND SALT. Sugar is addictive and is in so many foods for example its in BREAD absolutely unnecessary. So wean yourself off sugar, salt and pre made foods and watch the weight disappear.

I’m on my sixth day of a seven day fast , it’s not being done for weight lost but for HBP , I’ve been on intermittent fasting for two and a half years. This fast has revealed my HBP is this …. years of nursing , little sleep , giving to others and no time for myself resulted in HBP. When I started gaining weight , and I told people it was cortisol they looked at me as though I was mad. So for me it’s not living on the hormones of STRESS , I have to tell myself that I’m “ safe “,and I’m no longer having to run like a headless chicken. As scripture says “ forget the former things of the past , see I’m doing a new thing “. Let go of yesterday , take no thoughts of what I will eat , drink , wear “. No stress over the future , just learning to breathe is key. My oxygen level which is normally between 93-96 % level out at 99% yesterday , which lets me know I’m BREATHING my body is getting OXYGEN.

Those verses from scripture that you are quoting are written to the saved, those who have been born again , regenerated, forgiven, washed clean of every sin , past , present and future, given eternal life by Almighty God himself. They are not written for unrepentant sinners who have not faith in Christ Jesus. The message from scripture for sinners is the same now as from the beginning , which is to turn from sinning and recognise that humanity is a flawed and fallen race under God's wrath , in need of genuine repentance before Almighty God , and faith in the sacrifice of His son Jesus Christ. Please read the New Testament , there you will see these truths 👆 . You must be Born Again - John 3:3.

The things that apply to all of mankind, specifically in our time period is the hidden meaning behind all scripture as revealed to us spiritually from God. Jesus came to save the lost, broken and sick not the righteous. He died for all of mankind. People who think they know and understand scripture are fools bc we can never understand the layers of meaning to scripture. It takes spiritual revelation from God to understand the hidden truth and secrets of scripture. It is called "the Living Word of God for a reason" and that is bc it is alive and applies to us and our daily lives in an unknown way that has to be revealed by God in the moment. Every verse in the bible has multiple meanings based on whether you are looking at the spiritual realm or the physical realm or what type of entity you are applying it to. Which bible character in the bible are they playing out in their life now. Are they Noah or Lot? Are they Adam or Eve? Which disciple are they living as? We are all living out the story of Jesus (his word, bible) from creation/birth to his death and resurrection over and over again. Each of us playing a different role in a different dimension of time. The more true/secret meaning that is revealed to you by God, and the more you know abouth the truth of all things, the more you come to know that you actually will always know less then you think you know about anything.

The Holy Spirit is the author of all scripture , chosen men may have held the pen but the Inspired word came through the Spirit of God. 2 Tim 3 : 16 - 17 All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking , correcting and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. Clearly this is written to those who serve God , those who love God and are loved by God . Those who belong to God are Born Again of water and the SPIRIT , the Holy Spirit lives IN the forgiven saved, regenerated new creation IN Christ , the child of God , the ones who are washed clean by the blood of their precious Saviour . Romans 8: 9 You , however ( speaking to the saved , elect of God ) are not in the flesh but in the spirit , if in fact the SPIRIT OF GOD dwells IN you. Anyone who does not have the SPIRIT OF GOD does not belong to him. Only those Born Again have the indwelling Spirit. The author of scripture . The unsaved , carnal , worldly flesh cannot understand scripture ... 1 Cor 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the spirit of God , but considers them foolish and cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 1 John 14 : 17 Spirit of truth ....the world cannot accept him because it neither sees nor knows him , but YOU ( the saved , God's children ) know him , for he lives with you and will be IN you. John 16:13 To the saved .... How be it when the Spirit of truth is come he will guide you into ALL truths. Those who are Born Again have the veil taken away , given eyes to see and ears to hear , they are those who discern scripture because they have the indwelling Holy Spirit, taught not of fallen , flawed man but if the Spirit of God. You mention that Jesus Christ died for the whole world. Limited Atonement , election and predestination are not topics to discuss with those who are not IN Christ , sinners are called to repentance and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ Acts 2: 38 . The Apostle Paul wrote two thirds of the New Testament, the Epistles are letters to churches , to the SAVED in those churches . Hope this helps.

😢 change to plant based eating, you will safe lots if money. My daily budget is only 10 bucks and I only eat 2 meals. Only fruits at around noon and then fruit or veggies, sometimes cooked patatos or beans, by about 6 pm. I love rice but it creates mucus in my body, so I rarely eat it.

My husband and I did 18 hours fast every day for 21 days. He had blood sugar levels that fluctuated between 10-15, mines between 4-5.6. After the fast his levels dropped to 5 and mines to 3.99 the amazing thing was, fasting didn't give me low blood sugar but it regulate his own back to normal. I know for a fact that fasting is a must.

Eating carnivore (about 2 lbs. of meat a day) once a day enables me to get all the nutrients I need while intermittent fasting. I lost 100 lbs. in 5 months plus many many health conditions like low T, diabetes, high BP, sleep apnea, COPD, and psoriasis. I eat pork skins, cracklins, and bacon for snacks. I do not count calories and am never hungry. I am 54 and feel 18. I'm working out and reaching new PR's constantly. I started eating this way July 23' and have no plans to change. Shopping and cooking is easy as heck. Also, I feel I got away with murder because of a combination of intermittent fasting and using a derma roller I have zero loose skin. You don't need one spec of anything but meat, fat, salt, water, and oxygen to thrive. Loose skin has zero to do with hydration btw.

I do carnivore as well. It's so satisfying and easy. And cost less then fruits and vegetables etc and much more nutritious. Fruit starts my sugar cravings and vegetables give me stomach pain....

Sad to think that eating dead animals can sustain a human being in the long run. Do we know more than God the creator??? He said of all the plant of the garden you should eat, not all animal...IAm 66 year old healthy , no weight problem and vegetarian for 40+ years. Ps. Legumes and nuts have more protein than meat .

@@nellycarvajal5851 Eating animals is how humans have lived since we were humans. When plant agriculture started, we got shorter, and our brains shrunk. Plant agriculture kills an estimated 7.3 billion animals a year, so your vegetarian superiority ethically is a myth and a lack of understanding how farming works. As to the bible, I would refer you to Leviticus 11, Genesis 9:3-6, and Acts 15:9-15. I eat mainly ruminants and seafood so I am right in line with instructions from the Bible. Legumes and nuts lack many nutrients and amino acids only an animal based diet contains such as omega-3, B-12, carnitine, leucine, and taurine. It's not a surprise that vegetarians tend to be more sarcopenic and have a higher frequency of bones breakage than those who eat animals. I mean you really just have to watch anything about history pre agriculture and watch a show called Alone to know what's appropriate for humans. On Alone people are dropped into northern Canada and whoever lives longest wins 500k. The vegetarians and vegans are the first to go. Then those who could only source lean meat and vegetables/berries/tubers etc. The winners without fail are those who sourced fat. That's a real human survival situation not modernized baloney with a grocery down the street. There are and have been tons of vegetarian societies all with major epidemic level health issues. Look at modern India and their insane rates of diabetes or ancient Egypt with their estrogenic breast and pot bellies on males (they lived on tons of wheat). So, good for you feeling great but I'm going to go with how I feel, history, science, and reason concerning how I eat.

When you fast for 40 days it's the best experience, weekly confession with a priest, Daily Mass,eating the Holy communion daily,Eating only simple bread and water, meditating the bible, doing more acts if charity, using exorcised salt, water, and olive oil, lots of people get healthier and holier, the next step getting to know God more 🙏🌬🕊🔥💞🌍🌎🌏🌞🌈🐛🦋😇Tercerfiat
