I appreciate the level plain view across the fenders and the air intake to carb view actually. Very nice

Love the nova That's a sweet setup on the turbo Fits nice and snug and you can have a hood without a big bread box on top.

Can you program the waste gate to open while idling to eliminate the whistle, yours is not doing it much and sounds kinda dirty but some have an obscene whistle that detracts from the overall idle.
@MrNovalou Жыл бұрын
At idle it is open; manifold vacuum controls it. There probably is a way to do what you're asking.

Amazing. How big us the smallblock. Seems to handle the f2 nicely ❤

HI, it's a 374, and the Procharger has a lot more to give.

Perfect build! The Hot air its sucking in from just above the header...have you ever noted IAT?
@MrNovalou Жыл бұрын
Yes, at the hat, making about 19# of boost and right at the finish line, it is usually 230*. This would be a quarter mile pass.

@@MrNovalou Is that something you may address some day? That large pulley makes 19?
@MrNovalou Жыл бұрын
@@brianmathew09 That's it for that pulley combo.

It's a problem for all Prochargers mounted like this. Any piping on the intake will reduce boost efficiency more than the resulting drop in IAT temperature. I ended up converting to a crank driven set up. Avoiding all belt/side load crank issues and getting cold air to both the volute and intake. He is only missing out on 50 - 75hp out of a total of between 700 - 1200+hp depending on his tune, engine components and blower choice.

When you had the side slinger setup did you ever experiment with heat shields or blanket over the exhaust?@@Procharmo

So this car is legit awesome, but I have to ask for a video of this beast making a pass. I'm not sure if this car is finished enough for that, because I see the car in the air, but when you get it to the track, I'd love to see the video. Is it a '68or'69? I didn't get a good look at the dashboard for that.
@MrNovalou Жыл бұрын
Hi, I have a couple of older videos of the car going down the track on my channel if you like to check those out. I'll post more current track videos soon. I keep the weight off the suspension when it's in the garage and it's a 68. Thanks for the questions and comments.

Are you using EFI or a blow-through carburetor ? I am really considering EFI for my set up but I’m not really sure ..
@MrNovalou Жыл бұрын
Using a CSU blow-through carb. I have been pleased with it; very little maintenance required.

I'm curious where you got the kit from. Does it have an alternator with that electric water pump? Do you have a bbc snout crank? What head unit is this?
@MrNovalou Жыл бұрын
Yes, it came as a kit from Procharger. (supercharger, bracket, blow off valve, pullies and pipe). It does have a BBC snout crank, has an alternator and it's an F2 that I spin about 42,000 RPM.
