Ann Wilson's voice is the most powerful female voice of all time! Nancy Wilson is an amazing guitar player and singer in her own right. Their 2012 cover of Stairway to Heaven performed live at The Kennedy Center Honors to honor Led Zepplin. who are in attendance, is considered the best cover of any song ever! Jason Bonham, son of the deceased drummer of Led Zepplin,John Bonham, sits on the drums for the performance. It's a powerful, emotional homage.

Heart, consisting of sisters Anne (lead singer) and Nancy Wilson (guitar & vocals) are considered the original queens of rock & roll. They have a massive catalog offering a diverse range of music. They are also endorsed by Led Zeppelin (and specifically Robert Plant) to perform their music - which is rare as they are fiercely protective of their music. Their version of Stairway to Heaven as part of LZ's Kennedy Center Honors back in 2012 was epic. Check it out but recommend to do some homework on it before watching as it will help understand the performance.

Not sure if this was intentional, but today is Ann Wilson's 73rd birthday!! (lead singer in the song) She is a vocal power house - as you can hear. Her sister, Nancy, plays guitar and also has a wonderful voice. Alone has always been a favourite if mine. Heart is a wonderful band. So many great songs! I'd say Roxette was likely influenced by Heart - Marie Fredriksson (RIP) had a wonderful voice as well! Crazy On You, Barracuda, Dreamboat Annie, Never, Magic Man, Sylvan Song/Dream Of The Archer (Ann's voice really shines!), Soul Of The Sea, Syl These Dreams, If Looks Could Kill, Who Will You Run To...are all tracks you need to hear!

You are definitely in for a treat with Heart. They have a long catalog of great songs. They sang Stairway To Heaven for Led Zeppelin when they were honored at The Kenndey Center Honors in back in Dec 2012 at the age of 62 years old. Her voice is timeless.

Their first worldwide hit was "Barracuda" in '76. Over the years they change their sound "a la mode", but they were always "rocking". Soft tones changing with hard tones. That's what I like so much on Heart. "These Dreams" is very romantic and "The Night" is hardrock. "Language of Love" is more country rock and their interpretation of Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven" is a sensation ! I love Heart for over 40 years and still can't get enough... 💖

Great reaction guys… this was my wedding song in 1987… we saw Heart 3 times in concert and as always they were great… one of the best female voices ever Ann Wilson .

Always, but always get more out of song when i watch these 2s reaction.Dominika is so insightful in particular. And the chemistry between them is heartwarming and authentic. It is perhaps the best power ballad ever. Raises the hairs on the back of your neck at times., such is the majesty of the lead singers dynamic voice.. A tour de force.

You do realise Heart basically did a cover, right? The original was by I-Ten and was published in 1983, written by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly. Oh, the duo has a few other songs they had written? Like a Virgin, Madonna; True Colors, Cyndy Lauper; Eternal Flame, the Bangles, amongst others.

ive always had to make a concious effort to listen to lyrics too.. theres plenty of songs ive heard and sang rubbish lyrics to all my life.. in fact, sometimes when i finally look at the lyrics closely, i prefer it not knowing again

Maybe you thought they were men because it was originally written and released by a band called I-Ten in 1983, with a male lead singer (though I think there are female vocal harmonies). Perhaps Dominika heard that version rather than Heart's. Heart made their version of I-Ten's song famous, to the extent that many people think it was written by Ann and Nancy Wilson, especially as they are songwriters and most Heart songs are written by them.
