Hi doc, my brother died during pericardiocentesis, he had a chronic kidney disease, until now I dont understand why the surgeon still do that procedure if my brother is not capable to produce oxygen during the surgery?

Hey Sir, could you help me? I am a UK registered Adult Nurse who would like to work in America. I hear that the CGFNS and NCLEX exams incorporate paedriatric and mental health nursing too, which I have not done., as in UK they are completely different pathways.
