Can we just give an applause to that woman??! SHINee gave their own opinions to make the song sound better and she took their suggestions without any problem... That’s what a great producer do!! Instead of telling them what to do, she listened to her artists and allowed them to give their essence to the music they were creating!

I was so shocked we were this well-fed I actually feared we were getting a disband announcement. I was SO relieved and happy when our Taeminnie said they would be back soon, I teared up. This Shinee is the Shinee we and the industry deserve.

@@nancyl6754 well... for one, I guess I'm just afraid? Scared? We've been through so much... for two, the boys are not getting younger, and even though I think of them as young men - I'm 30 as well - this industry is obsessed with age. Finally, the last three comebacks felt, uhm, not exactly hot? as if SM was just trying to get pennies after the tragedy, and not actually putting any effort? Taemin, the most profitable member, is also Super M and a soloist. I thought SM just didn't care enough about Shinee to give what they deserve. So after such a huge comeback, I felt a bit like the Holiday/All Night comeback of SNSD - I know they did not disband, but it's just as if they had. I don't trust SM, that's the long and short of it. (Sorry for the long answer! But well, you did ask heheheh)

I still can’t believe how precious their vocals are... Jinki nailing it at his first attempt making it sound effortless always, Taemin doing it so freaking good but wanting to try it again making it sound even better if it’s possible, Kibum just doing it on point and sounding so fresh, Minho being insecure about the high notes and falsettos but still doing them remarkable. Their vocals are clearly not. a. joke. *inserts chefs kiss🤌🏽* 🔥🔥🔥👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

재계약할때 샤이니가 갑이고 회사가 을이 되었다고 하더만 팬들이 신비주의보다 소통을 원한다는 걸 알고 스엠 샤이니팀도 샤이니도 변하는 것 같아. 태민이부터 멤버들까지 라이브방송 자주 하기 시작하더니 활동하는 내내 방송 예능 스케줄 재밌게 하고 자컨떡밥도 자주 주고 너무 좋아. 진작부터 이랬으면 몇년전에 월드스타 되었다

I love how they sound so different from each other yet compliment each other so well. Onew is basically SHINee's musical identity, sounds like a god Taemin sounds unique yet sweet Key has such a charismatic voice, it's so cool Minho sounds both super sweet and very manly when he goes deep. Just love their vocals 💕😭

I love how Key pointed out that he didn’t want to play it safe in terms of his vocals. It shows how he really works hard to present something new to SHINee’s music even at 13 years into their career. I also love seeing how each member adds their own vocal color and vocal layer to the song that makes it so quintessential SHINee no matter what new genre they tackle for the comeback. I love this group so much. Keep up the content SM! I’m not ready to let go of activities yet.

If you notice at 0:54 with Key, 1:17 with Minho, and 5:40 with Taemin, they are all doing a recording technique with layering their vocals typical with R&B artists who are strong vocalists. It makes the background vocal arrangement on a track sound more fuller. I thought that was neat to see considering that most kpop groups do not do this. They instead use the background arrangement from the vocalist who cut the demo and sometimes leave the original demo vocals on a track instead of recording an original arrangement. The fact that SHINee knows these techniques and can record without using a pre-recorded guide is stellar.
