This is what you call a *_real_* artist. Both Tom and Nova. The talent in these two cannot be denied. They don't *_need_* an entire company behind them to make hits, because they *_are_* hits. I haven't seen so much talent in one person (both of them, having multiple skills) since the days of old movies with Frank Sinatra, and Gene Kelly, when actors had to act, sing and dance. I agree ! A true artist shouldn't be put in a box! There is a perfect song for anytime. Doesn't all have to be the same regurgitated content to a different but similar beat. Tom is just not afraid to be Tom. We have to be willing to change if we are to grow and get better. I feel like so many artist that make a hit song think ..well I'm gonna make 20 more songs like that and try not to change..smh they put themselves in a box! Same. Except USA I am a girl and my ex was physically abusive to the point I had to leave or die. Which I tried leaving many times I had to go into hiding so we remained safe for the final time. I like how this man can do a Cinematic Style Rap about his early life into his rap career, to dressing up as an emo punk clown, to making an early 2000s Modern Rock breakup song. The skills on this man’s tapestry is insane and it’s only expanding. He truly doesn’t allow himself to be defined by one form of music, but instead, all the music he can get his hands on. I really love this for him, because I do feel like if he constantly went down one singular path, he’d just be plastered as a carbon fiber copy of another artist. You sir, are an artist and inspire me to keep achieving my dreams.

I'm in my early 60's but love what these 3 are doing they see the world as I and other critical thinkers do, and during those 60 odd years I've observed that the best music is always produced when the artist is experiencing the situations and emotions they are singing about, I just hope that Tom doesn't do what so many artists do and become addicted to the money and fame, when that happens the artist continues to still perform long after the fire inside them that inspired their best music has died, it's far better to know and accept that its over and go out on a high rather than hang around producing stale music slowly fading into obscurity.

I'm 54 and have been a music fan and collector for well over 40 years and Tom is the first rapper I've ever purchased music from. And while I'm not really feeling it with this particular song, I think it's tremendous that he has the unabashed freedom to create whatever he wants and go in any direction he chooses with his craft. He's got my ear regardless because his presence is ridiculously important now more than ever and I love seeing how diverse his audience is becoming.

I've been listening to this on repeat for days now. I used to not like this one as much as some of Tom's others but now it hits different. I just got out of a really mentally abusive relationship. This song is exactly how I feel and it's really helping me a lot.
